I was running the Who Will Die signature story arc today and came across two seemingly unrelated bugs.

1.  I'm not seeing any of the text during the cutscenes.

2.  I'm not able to choose a hero merit as a reward.  This is my first time running the signature arc, and I confirmed my alignment as hero earlier today.

Do you have cut scene dialog added to your chat tab?

No, I didn't realize I needed to.  So there's no text box that shows it like the iTrial cutscenes?

I have never done an iTrial so I dont know how that looks.

Whenever I encounter a cut scene I do see caption boxes (like chat bubbles) pop up but they are always at least half off the screen and unreadable.  Honestly I don't remember how it was a decade ago, seems the captioning was overlayed and you could read along but I may be misremembering.

The no hero merit isn't a bug.  Homecoming no longer offers alignment merits as reward options, you can only buy them via spending 50 reward merits.  Since they can be converted back at the same rate, their only use here is to make mailing significant numbers of reward merits between characters easier.

Cut scene dialog didn't fix it, but adding NPC dialog back to my chat tab did.  Removing it from your chat tab removes also removes the chat bubbles, which is why I wasn't seeing anything.

OK, I was hoping I could get them as rewards since they're worth a lot more merits than I was getting for finishing the arcs.
