Good show, Arsonella! Updated!

 

One of the Best... reasons to Badge.

One of the first and most enthusiastic badgers I met through this private server was a man who had played on the Live servers prior to the 2012 publisher sunsetting. He did not actively badge at that time. When asked why he took up this new mantle, he explained that badging allowed him to see all of the content.  To enjoy those things previously left unsung.

Highest Possible count as of today: 

  • We are now in January of 2020. Highest possible count is 1525 until Valentines Event.
  • We are now in February of 2020. Highest possible count* is 1529 until the Nemesis Event (no ETA) or unless any other badges are added.
  • April 1st, 2020 was the unveiling of NEMESIS EVENT!  Max badge count is now 1530.
  • April 30th, 2020 brings us a NEW anniversary badge (and the return of the purchase menu for previous anniversary badges from Luna in Ouroboros). Max badge count is now 1531.
  • November 24th, 2020 brings us 15 NEW badges from Issue 27. Max badge count is now 1546.
  • December 1st , 2020 brings us 1 entirely NEW badges for Winter Event. Max badge count is now 1547.

There is no information yet on the Nemesis Plot Invasion badge - coincidence...

One of the Best... reasons to Badge.

One of the first and most enthusiastic badgers I met through this private server was a man who had played on the Live servers prior to the 2012 publisher sunsetting. He did not actively badge at that time. When asked why he took up this new mantle, he explained that badging allowed him to see all of the content.  To enjoy those things previously left unsung.

In my mind, I always felt like those with high badge counts were simply....better. 
Better players. 
Better teammates. 

Obviously, it's not a 100% correlation, but in my experience in playing, the people that have the higher badge counts know more about the game, the game mechanics, and are almost always willing to help someone else get a badge to the point of near selflessness. 

Just anecdotal, of course. Opinions will vary.

lol you guys creeping on me? I left Arsonella at 1398 last night, I got frustrated 'cause I got 3 badges in a run the chat didn't tell me one of them the most recent didn't tell me the one either. this has happened before a couple of times, I think both times it was a gladiator, I'll have to reconcile my checklist later (kind of a pain lol)

Today was the best MoM AV farm ever! I've run at least four before, but this one was the fastest turnaround for all 16 AV's. We had about 12 regulars.

 

Lankey hit his 1515 badges today! Go Lankey!! 

 

We got the rare most people had been needing (Deathsurge) three times today. We ran 2 regular full runs as a break after. For those who stayed and were needing Bat'zul, he mysteriously made a last minute appearance. So nice, right?! So many Dreamwalkers awarded today! Grats, all!

I'm Discord grabbing everyone's buttends for today, Winter Event has come! Haha, I must have messaged a couple of dozen badgers - half of whom were already logged in. 

 

Come verify! Come verify! Do not forget to PM me here, or in DIscord (Spider#6968), or post here with your new numbers. I'll post numbers but only include a verification date if a screenshot is attached. Likewise, you top dogs, will need a screenshot to overthrow the current number one spot held by TopDoc.
