KSinclaire
Manufacturer: Nvidia Model: GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB Operating System and version: Windows 10 Home (1809) Does the game load (and error you get if not): Yep! Driver Version: 425.31 Monitor Resolution: 1920 x 1080 Multi-monitor?: No. Graphics Preset Used: All Overall experience: The game mysteriously runs at 60 FPS in some place; 20 FPS in others - regardless of whether or not the graphics settings are at their absolute minimum or absolute max. Any steps taken to resolve issues you encountered: Mostly, research - but the only potential hook I've been able to find is that the game forces itself to run on 'Low Priority'. Attempting to set it any higher only makes it set itself back; so I've been unable to see if that might be a potential cause.
Hangover
Manufacturer: Galaxy Model:GT 210 Operating System and version:Microsuck Windows 7 Home Prem Does the game load (and error you get if not): it loads but at times is slow Optional info you like: AMD 6000+ San Diego CPU Driver Version: Monitor Resolution:various Multi-monitor?: no just one Sanyo 55 inch LED TV Graphics Preset Used:High Overall experience (any stuttering, glitching, etc or smooth sailing): Any steps taken to resolve issues you encountered (both those that worked and those that didn't):It does glitch at times, I can see through walls at various times, the HUD and screen with go black for a split second throughout playing the game... I have a hard time seeing now so I keep the resolution to where the text is a little larger...(too many years playing close to a 25 inch CRT i guess) Update...I recently installed an EVGA 1650 GT into this system...before the server move it made little difference. but since the move...this machine studders, rubber bands, and has atrocious load times my daughters laptop with a cheap intel integrated video card loads faster than mine does. Windows Update says those drivers are uptodate. Don't know why it doesn't think that the graphics are running off of the GTX 1050 Ti. No issues, running on Ultra. Overall experience (any stuttering, glitching, etc or smooth sailing): There's been some camera clipping, but probably was there since launch. Some NPCs don't have heads in their conversation windows with Cel Shading turned on. But, nothing I can't live with. Any steps taken to resolve issues you encountered (both those that worked and those that didn't): I have yet to even know if there's a way to make their heads render (I don't think, I believe it's a symptom of the feature not being completed.) Lomyril
I have an Intel graphics chip on my laptop, as well as an NVidia. Unfortunately for me, I'm in the "The game will only run with the Intel chip" group. With that disclaimer, here's the information. Note that I used the information from DirectX Diagnostic tool and not Winver. (Typing 'dxdiag' instead of 'winver' in the Windows run box). Manufacturer: Intel Corporation Model: Intel® HD Graphics 520 Operating System: Microsoft Windows Version 1809 (OS Build 17763.475) Does the game load? Yes, but uses the Intel chip instead of nVidia Optional Info: Driver version: 22.20.16.4836 Monitor Resolution: 1280x800 (while playing) Multi-monitor?: No Graphics Preset Used: Quality (if you mean the settings for 'Graphics Quality' under the 'graphics and audio tab of the options window in the game) Overall experience: Very good using the Quality settings with the Intel chip, surprisingly. There were a few moments when I'd lag or stutter using a higher setting, but this seems to work well for me. It's only on rare occasions (like going to see Ms. Liberty in Atlas Park) that the game may stutter a bit as all the characters around her are spawned in. I ran a Penelope Yin TF last night and there were no issues with gameplay, for example, even though there were tons of Clockwork. Any steps taken to resolve issues: I've downloaded the latest Intel graphics drivers from my laptop manufacturer. That, plus turning my graphics quality down to "Quality" instead of Ultra seems to work well for me. I haven't done much to try to experiment with other graphics resolutions other than that and having the game display at 1280x800. I have tried to download the latest graphics drivers from Nvidia as well use steps to mark the launcher and game executables as something that should only use the Nvidia graphics chip. (My understanding is that this is a known issue where the game simply uses the Intel graphics instead. Oh well. I'll keep monitoring the appropriate forums here and keep my fingers crossed). Extra info on the Intel chip from DirectX Diagnostic Tool: Chip Type: Intel® HD Graphics Family DAC Type: Internal Device Type: Full Display Device Approx. Total Memory: 8261 MB Display Memory (VRAM): 128 MB Shared Memory: 8133 MB "The Sky is not the limit to Mastery, for (as any science fiction enthusiast can tell you) there are infinite worlds left to explore once the sky is left behind." Dr. Cyclone
Manufacturer: Asus/AMD Model: Asus Vivobook Laptop with 15.6" display run by Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.5 Ghz Operating System and version: Windows 10, 64-bit, Build 17134.706 Does the game load (and error you get if not): it loads and runs Monitor Resolution: my laptop is set to 1920 by 1080 which is the recommended setting, but when I switch to that resolution in the game it looks like my screen isn't big enough to display the full game, that is the game area is bigger than the screen at that setting in the game. I also get rubber-banding a lot, but I assume that's unrelated to the display and graphics.
