Holy Spambots, Batman!

Wow, we seem to have gotten an influx of spam recently - I think half of the topics on the first page are from bots.

 

I went through and reported a bunch of them - is there anything that can be done to stem the flow?

ya i have been reporting all of them as well. i don't know if they have moderators in place monitoring that kind of thing yet though

They really need to use one of the SMF anti-spam plugins, like this one.  I've been using it on a SMF forum for years and it's been very effective.

I went through and reported several as well. Anybody seen CuppaJo? We could really use her help right about now. lol

Yeah, plenty of spam bots for drugs. And not any of the fun kinds either. :(

Its because no email authentication to create a forum account. Just wait till the bots set up game accounts.

An upper level type of smucker we can do a smackalot upon in game.
