Ancillary / Epic Pools

Heya,

 

For some reason, I thought that for i24 Villains would have access to Hero Ancillary power pools and vice-versa (obviously, the epic unlock arc would not be needed anymore). Is this the case or if I have a hero who wants access to villain epics need to change alignment, do the arc and change alignment back?

Heroes and Villains get access to the Hero Epics without any work, just hitting level 38. Heroes and Villains still need to do the Villain Epic Arcs in order to get the Villain Epic Pools.

I always hated having to do the arc to get the Villain Epic powers - at least now with Null - switching sides is just a click and not a 4 day process.

You need to speak to Arbiter Rein to start/choose the patron arc.  It can be done by 35 (and up) but, the 'best' time to do this is if you're level 34 untrained to 35, to save the free respec.
