Female skulls not counting for hunting badge?

When killing skulls in Perez park for the 500 kills skull hunter badge, I noticed a discrepancy in the mob size vs badge count progression. Upon experimenting, I noticed that the female skull minions (and only the minions) do not seem to get counted for badge progress. The female lieutenants and Death Dolls are still counted fine, but the minions....no dice. Did they somehow not get tagged?

Hmm, interesting. Never heard this before. Might be worth checking out. Anyone else able to verify?
