Gold Medalist badge not awarded

On Everlasting, my 44th level Scrapper chose "Stop the Mystic Madmen" mission from the 20-24 range (0.15).

I chose the Time Limit challenge of Gold (30 min.) and no other challenge settings.

I completed the mission in 24 minutes and got the pop up box telling me I had succeeded at the challenge.

I noted the timer was still running so I hurried back and talked to the contact before the timer expired.

 

But no badge was awarded.

 

Any thoughts?

Not a bug, you'll need to do an arc that awards credit for this badge in order to get the gold medalist. This is how it was in live as well, you can use https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Hero_Merit_Rewards#Flashback_System as a reference (Badge Missions are marked with . They do not award badges for challenges, even if you choose challenges. Reward Merits are given for them when done as a flashback but not when started from a contact. )
