Any suggestions on fixing those?  I did a quick scan of Paragon WIki, and most of the Slow Resist sets I see are PVP only.....

Also, I think Toxic Resist tends to only come from 6-slotting sets, doesn't it?

EDIT:  Ah, I see Winter's Gift.  Maybe I should give up the Concealment pool and lose a LotG, to pick up Fly, so I can use Winter's Gift?  I assume I should hold on to Blessing of the Zephyr in Super Speed....

DOUBLE EDIT:  ARGH, but I need 16 KB protection total from Hami, don't I?  I'm only up to 14......

Hey, I just came across this and I mocked this up with Mids.

19 KB protection w/o Integration

100% Slow/Recharge resist

Capped toxic resistances W/ 2 Reconstructions

88.8% recharge pre hasten

Literally just slotted it to hit those benchmarks that some of you guys were talking about, this build seems like it'll be kind of meh in regular PVE, but, if Hami autohits you anyway it don't matter for defenses.

That's a great build. As is, it will perform awesomely already, not only as a starting point.

The decision to skip Dark RegenerationConsumption was bold, but 3x +End procs + Panacea will help alleviate recovery issues.

Siphon Life may need some adjustments to improve its healing amount, but that would only make a real difference in EoE-less tanking.

Do you mean Dark Consumption?

If so, I think the best place to replace it would be with Shadow Maul, those can be interchangeable since the AoE can still be slotted for the toxic res.

That doesn't get gimped by the recovery debuffs?

Yeah, I wasn't aware of the slow debuffs, but basically there's 2 kinds of attacks from Hami I knew about

1:  The Green mitos, nailing you with toxic.

2:  EVERYTHING ELSE, which ignores any defense/resistance other than that given by "Essence of the Earth" inspirations, AND massively debuffs basically anything that makes your green bar go up (being healed, using an inspiration, the Rebirth destiny), with a VERY small number of "unresistable" exceptions....the main ones I know of being Siphon Life from DM and Reconstruction from Regen.  Hence why I picked both sets.

I would of thought the Toxic res in reconstruction was self stackable like Healing Flames so, from stacking it 3 times you hit 45% resistance. Is it not the case? Because then you don't really have to slot it for resistance if so.

Some players make their characters all about them, if it doesn't help them, they don't want it, their build advice to you will ofcourse be about making your character the best thing that helps them too if they ever team with you, because it's always about them.

So I've got this guy fully slotted, but he needs most of his incarnates, and I haven't applied any boosters yet.  He has no issues tanking Hami with support, but I still need to get Destiny and Hybrid in order to deal with the -End and the Terror status.

Here are some things i found really helped with end drain/Toxic/minus rech,Stun;
1.The base buffs, they last an hour
2.Force of Nature/gaes of the kind
3.I had a Kin spam I.D.on me before the launch. I never got stunned.
4.Demonic/eye of magnus
5.Amplifiers,recovery serum from P2W
6.Dark Consumption
7.Inspirs (liberate,Back in the Fight: +100% Endurance)
8.Ageless

because this was an 8 man,I used all of these and a bunch of EOEs at some point in our raid.We cleared 3 blooms and then took hami down.We tried clearing one bloom and then taking him down the week before and came up 10-15% short. We played it safe this week.

Are you still happy with this build? I made one myself based off your build and sure, it can tank Hami, but it dies when herding GMs and is one of the slowest killing brutes I've ever had the displeasure of playing in PvE. I've switched back to my Rad/Rad brute for all-purpose Hami/Yellow taunter/GM gathering/PvE proc monster.

Some set combinations unfortunately can't afford very well being a good Hami tank + being good at other content, and Regen is one of them. Sets like Rad or Bio can be built to be great at tanking Hami without letting go of anything that makes them great in PvE.

For min-maxed Hami tanks that can't be such hybrids, a different build for PvE is recommended.

I my not completely understand what goes on in a HAMI raid, but it sounds like u need to look at RAD ARMOR.

RAD armor can cap toxic resist.,..can cap rech. RESIST at 90%,..has 3 heals,..1 being a BIG abosorbe sheild that cant be reduced or negated as far as i know.

2 end powers u can slot 2 performance +end along with paancea +hp/end ,eam even if recovery is debuffed to 0 u still gain some end.

just sound to that rad armor covers most if not all debuffs hami throughs out.

so maybe  A dark/rad brute or tank?

I haven't tried it but my Rad tank, not created for hami raids, also has 91% regen debuff res after using Radiation Therapy, which, as far as I can tell, is an unresistable heal on top.

So on paper, with 91% regen debuff res, 86% rcovery debuff res and 80% recharge debuff res (which I could easily get up to 100% if I were building for it) on top of an unresistable heal every 17 seconds and an absorb you'd think it would do ok, but I have no idea how it works in practice.

Regen debuff resistance does nothing in Hami raids. Hami and green beam regen debuffs are unresistable.

On top of that, it diminishes the regen buffs you get from Rebirth Destiny as they're resistable (this is likely a bug).

[Edit] Found out recently that Hami -regen is actually resistable. So having -regen debuffs can help if you're being hit by Hami. Green debuffs are still unresistable but they have a short duration.

Fair enough, I didn't realise they were unresistable, but I should have guessed. I don't do many hami raids any more, did plenty on live but I think I've only done the one since I found homecoming, so I'm a bit out of touch with it.
