Keep in mind that even if you don’t get the badges, you don’t fail the event, you still get the reward of the random Overwhelming Force set piece.

CASINO HEIST

Stage 1

Grifter – Conversation choices with Sylvia Rexson 1. Flirt 2. Be crass 3. After a few seconds talk to her again and choose even more crass

Hacker – First door on the left in the hallway, use your stealth power from the event and click each computer without being seen

Hitter – First door on the right in the hallway, click each of the four glowies

Thief – click all the glowies in the office until you get the progress bar full. You may have to click each one if you’re not lucky!

Stage 2

Grifter – Choose the top option, the casino focused interior decorating. Click through the top conversation options keeping in mind at some point you have to let him continue talking before you get option choices again.

Hitter – Walk into the casino and turn right, you’ll see the dishevelled drifter in a green trench coat. Talk to him, teach him to count cards, and each time the conversation ends, talk to him again and re-encourage him.

Thief – Click on the vent on the wall to get to the laser grid maze. Carefully navigate through the lasers until you reach the glowie keypad on the far wall. Once the Grifter is done their part, you’ll be able to click it and complete your part.

Hacker – First door on the right in the hallway. Use stealth to disable the 3 security cameras.

Roleplayer badge - Doing the above steps results in Perfect Grifter, Hacker, Hitter, and Thief for everyone in the group, as well as the Roleplayer badge (for getting each of the other four).

TIME GLADIATOR

Hellenic Beauty badge - Defeat the minotaur without defeating the harpies.

Ninja Monkey badge - Defeat a COMBINED total of 75 ninjas/monkeys between boss rounds.

Man’s Best Friend badge - Defeat “Hunnerd Yard” McCain within 10 seconds of defeating Killer.

Invictus badge Stay on the God Champion until he drops to one knee, take out his friends, then take him down.

NOTE: The God Champion round happens only when you use your “Incite the crowd” temporary powers as a group and get the crowd favor to 500. You get this power after Hunnerd Yard goes down.

Double Feature badge Completing both Casino Heist and Time Gladiator gets you this badge.

Although stealth is an objective for the Hacker, it's not necessary.  I normally defeat the thugs so I can hack in peace (and still get the badge.)

For the thief, the laser challenge is a little easier if the camera is tilted to a more "top down" view.

The Ninja Monkey badge is made easier with AoEs, naturally.

For Man's Best Friend, the players should defeat the two-or-three brown dogs before attacking Frank.  Once the brown dogs are defeated, then the players can focus on the badge.

@Super Whatsit

Superbase passcode (Excelsior) is "passcode-6475"

It's all a Nemesis plot.  But not everything is a Nemesis plot!

You get the role player badge when someone on your team does the role perfectly. It doesn’t have to be you. In fact, if everyone does their role perfectly, you can get all 4 badges on the same run.

Ninja monkey badge might be the most dependent on team comp. You need a lot of aoe. And both ninjas and monkeys throw out a lot of -recharge. It’s not unusual to fail this badge on teams with more single target focus or low damage ATs (controllers...).

The theater lobby is the hospital, so if you die, release right away. The concession vendors sell insps too, if you need them.

Finally, it’s possible to be unable to complete the tf. The first boss in the heist is a regen scrapper. If you have low to medium damage and no regen debuff, you might not be able to drop her. Again this typically only happens for lower level teams.

Oh yeah, and the rewards screen says you can only pick the Overwhelming Force IO once every 24 hours, but they’re lying. You can pick it every time (and you probably should!)

The secret to the Hitter badge for part to is:

  • talk to the Disheveled Drifter and teach him to count cards, he'll give a spiel about how easy it is
  • wait for him to talk again. if one of your conversation choices has "lavalier" in it, you talked to him too soon.
  • if one of the conversation choices is something like "go out and hit the tables",  that's the one!

Nice guide, thanks!

Incidentally, when playing the Grifter I choose "Crime and Punishment Monthly" and it works just fine to click through.

Happy heisting!

(And if you are ever on Torch and see me there, usually as "Real Doctor Ditko," hit me up. I'm always up for a nice SBB!)

Go in the door and to the right. Hide behind the computer island and wait for the thugs to pass. get that glowie.

stealth.

move to the far left (from the entrance). get that glowie.

After clicking the glowies, run back down the hall and fight any enemies that may be delaying the hacker.

You can stand so you can click all three glowies in each of the three locations at the same time.

In each case, clicking them one after another doesn't restart the progress on the first one you clicked on.

I use the old folks option (Golden something or other magazine, I think). That works to.

I'm pretty sure I start from the top and work my way down (I now I ask for information on facility security last)

There are some delays while the NPC is running conversation by you.

The angels (ar they harpies? I thought they were angels)  can also be dangerous so avoiding getting them involved makes defeating the Minotaur easier. (so does focus fire, but, yeah ...)

WARNING :: Rikti monkey farts are really stinky and you may have to go to a costume vendor to get a new costume after the event is complete as well a shower. It's always hard on teammates when you reek of rikti monkey farts.

And last but not least....

I strongly suggest always taking the Overwhelming Force Enhancement as the final reward every time you run the SBB.

If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore.

(It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications)

Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case.

But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable.

Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

The angels (they are far too pretty for harpies) are a great use of any Confuse powers, since they usually help you take down the Super-Bull.

(I've never seen them decide to take each other out, but YMMV.)
