IronYeti Posted April 5, 2020 Posted April 5, 2020 On a Windows 10 laptop (Windows 10 Home version 1909), I used to have CoH Homecoming running (many updates of both Windows and the game ago, it's been many months since I used this particular machine for gaming). I recently tried out the game again, and now the game won't start. I get the "LOADING..." banner, then the game opens up a blank screen and Windows reports it as "Not Responding" in the task bar and the task manager. It never gets past that stage (at least for many minutes). I've tried reinstalling, rebooting, and everything that seems even remotely possibly relevant in Silk's guide. I have an exclusion for the directory in Windows Security, I've set the executables to run as administrator, I tried the Intel graphics fix AND adding score.exe to NVIDIA control panel... no improvement. Anyone have further suggestions for what I should try, or what more information would be helpful for me to provide? Thanks!
IronYeti Posted April 5, 2020 Author Posted April 5, 2020 GM Kal on Discord helped me out. Adding "-gfxreset" to the Tequila launch parameters fixed it.
