ss/wp help?

Hello, i have a ss/wp brute and i need a little help trying to pick the i guess right powers. I would like a build for farming and helping out lower lvls, any info wouldl be awesome thank you. I have 3 respecs in game. Thank you for your time :D

Firstly, while ss/wp brutes can be pretty tough, I don't really think they'll be the best for a farming build.

A little more detail on your desires may help in giving direction. Brutes can farm, but may not be the best pick. How do you want to farm? Solo? You mention helping lowbies, do you want to shield them from aggro? A tank may be a better pick. What level are you hoping to mature your toon?

 

Brutes kill quicker, but can't hold aggro as well as tanks. Controllers farm well late game. A bit more info would help.

Thank you, hum to be honest farming with or without a group, and running something over and over for low lvls thats all :D

SS is not that great at lower levels as you don't normally have much global recharge and your heavy hitter is on a long timer.  It can be decent for farming with a lot of recharge and the right epic pool. I would go Mu for 2 more aoe attacks. However that same farming build would be terrible for lower level content so you would need a 2nd spec for that.

For farming you will be far better with a Spines/WP, either Brute or Scrapper than with a SS/WP. Claws and Savage Melee can also work for you, although Claws will probably work better paired with /elec, in fact, in the old forums there was a massive thread talking about Claws/Elec Brutes regarding farming and other stuff. WP is a solid set that needs little to shine but for farming, you need more AoE damage so Spines, Mace or Axe should do the trick for you  for a solid, inexpensive build apt for farming.
