Taunt on a brute is still handy for those times you're tanking or want to pull. As for what's skippable, I never took the cone AoE on mine. Between Eye of the Storm and her damage aura, I didn't really need it. If I had to get rid of one power it would be Innocuous Strikes, but that has about as much to do with disliking the animation as anything else. Dig, hoe, dig! I hope you took whirlwind on your staff/regen because SPINNING is WINNING Of staff/elec you can probably skip either mercurial blow or precises strike along with taunt. I prefer to keep mercurial for the -Def. Despite the animation Innocuous strikes is not bad and you can regularly hit multiple mobs with it with little positioning. If you skipped two powers from staff and took all but the T9 from /elec you can still fit in most pool powers that contribute to survival plus a few epic pool powers.
