Fista Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 The population seems to be slowly growing or else everyone is multiboxing. Assuming that the pop is going up currently, why is that? There are other "factions" that now have servers, with more coming on line any day. Also a handful of private servers. So what's the draw here? just the most well known? Or something else? Will the other faction servers draw off some of "our" pop? Thoughts? Because there is a city in the Midwest that is continually threatened by a silver backed gorilla and is protected by a man who can run faster than the speed of light.
Cerulean_Caver Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 I was thinking of the same things, but from a different angle. Homecoming has done an excellent job of handling server load, whether it's because the hardware is 10 years newer or something else. Regardless, every server except Reunion is frequently red and at some point (I suspect) there will be a need for an additional NA server. So I'd be curious to know if there were any long term plans in that direction.
Myrmidon Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 With donations being filled up around 30 minutes the last time they were open and only being used for server costs, I’m certain that they will easily be able to handle the population. Playing CoX is it’s own reward
