I would love to see this powerset on tankers. I have wanted it for tankers since live. For now the closest I have it is with brute, which is ok, but I would like to see it on tankers as well. I am very much more for defense tanks then resist tanks.

I think it's something they are planning on porting over it just needs some tweaks.

 

On a tanker the numbers would be bananas due to the AT Mods they have.  Or at least that's what I remember being said about it.

 

So expect it EVENTUALLY.  But maybe with some slightly different numbers or powers.

I have it on my scrapper. I'm gonna be honest... for the scrapper powerset, I find it to be kinda squishy lol. I wish the dmg resistance was more on-par w/ WP, or something...

Devs have already said that energy aura will not be ported to tanks without significant changes (i.e., it's not sub-optimal, it's too good).

God I hope so, I love Defense tanks over resist. Don't get me wrong, I don't think they are better, they can be equal, I just prefer defense over resist.

Conceptually, I just like Energy Aura as basically "Force Field Armor".  

A Bubbler who bubbles HIMSELF, vs the team. 

 

However, given the thread the Uun linked, i'm... not exactly hopeful it will make it to tankers.

Uh, I suggest a rework of your build. On stalker it makes you basically unkillable.
