How about this combo? Dark Melee/Radiation Amor

I've seen a lot of posts about rad armor and dark melee, but never the two together. Anyone have one or have thoughts about it? (Or a build you might be willing to share?)

Funny that you asked. 

 

Literally just made one. Thinking the Hit Debuff from Dark, Res from Bio and toss on a bunch of Def from set IOs and I should be pretty unstoppable. 

 

At level 9 now so besides saying great choice I really have nothing to offer.

I personally think radiation armor is better on tanks. You can get it to 90% all minus cold which will be around 40-50%. 

 

As far as pairing it dark melee you unfortunately don't benefit from Siphon Life due to you pretty much always having an absorb up. 

 

I initially thought this would be a ridiculous combo and I guess when your health DOES  get dropped siphon life could help but for me it just didn't seem to happen often. As long as you're okay with not benefitting from the heal in most content I'd say overall it will be a great toon.

 

TLDR roll a rad/anything tank and proc Radiation Therapy and Ground zero, grab gloom and dark obliteration from the patron powers and proc those as well. Profit!

It's a good combo to be stupidly sturdy. I've rolled it on my Stalker and it has been fun to see it overcome huge odds.
