Never made a /rad before and this is my first Corr on HC. So couple of questions,Choking Cloud and Fallout my instinct is to skip these,am I making a mistake? What powers are skippable?

How bad is the crash on EM Pulse? This power also seems skippable. Seems wrong to be considering skipping the last 3 powers.

Primary is Fire.

Also what is best Epic for Corruptors?

Thanx for any info/advice

I would skip all 3, but really up to you.

1.  Fallout is just for funzies.

2. Choking Cloud is okay if you like that sort of thing. Similar to entangling aura. Preference, but end drain galore.

3. EM Pulse is also a preference thing. It's not really a crash just an End recovery remover. Big hold though. If you want to hold a room full of non-bosses, it'll do it's thing.

It's nice to have some breathing room for powers, IMO.

Dark is a pretty strong contender, just due to : End management, Resistance, and Self-buff. But if you take EM Pulse/Choking cloud you might consider Power Boost - preferably from Soul. And you can get a perma pet from it if youre into that ;D

Here's something you can start from with EMPulse/PB.  Note: PB here is really only good for EMP/Rad infection. so take that for what it's worth, lol

I'm biased but I think fallout is totally worth it.   If you take mutate why would you not take fallout? Extra damage and massive debuffs make it a great power.

What this team needs is more Defenders

Posted (edited)

Want to thank ya'll for the replies and advice. I did go with Fallout,if nothing else it is a great mule power. And hey, teammates die 😛

@seresibyl3 I used that build for a starting point and didn't change very much at all,so thank you for that

But I just can't do Soul Mastery again,I have it on my defender,I know I am in the minority I just think Power Build Up from Power Mastery is better. You need to hit atleast 4 foes to match Power Build Up. And in my experience that is about the max you're gonna hit.

Now take into account the activation time, and Power Build Up also does +Special. Which is a whole another power in Soul Mastery set. Anndd you can activate Power Build Up on your way into the mob,as your traveling. This, to me, makes Power Build Up far better.

repeat offenders have an SG....FFoF...faithful fans of fallout. Run all rad/? or ?/rad toons.  Super fun. deliberately soaking the alpha with a squishy then 'splode him and mutate him to do it on the next mob. one of the most fun mechanics in the game if your team has the right attitude.

edit: oh hey psy!
