AFAIK, your temporary buffs do pass down to summoned pseudo-pets for their duration, so using a couple of +Damage inspirations and summoning Lightning Storm would boost its damage for about 30 seconds. And Freezing Rain, though that damage is so low that it won't matter.

Unfortunately, Lightning Storm and Tornado are not pseudo-pets, but actual pets. As such, they do not inherit your damage bonuses.

Just tested. Lightning Storm benefits from damage inspirations. Tornado does not.

Do they (Tornado in particular given what @Uunposted above) show up in the pet window?  If so can you use the inspiration there?

They do NOT show up in the pet window. And you can't use inspirations on Controller pets even if they do show up in the pet window.

Ahh thanks, never recalled doing it on Stoney etc. ... MM pets maybe (or I am just dreaming perhaps).

That makes sense since you can slot pet IO sets into tornado (so it is counted as a "real" pet), but can't into lightning storm (which takes ranged damage).
