Advice on TW/?

Thinking of giving TW a try on a brute, but don't know much about what's best to pair it with.  I really hate how BIO armor looks, so that's out.  What else is a good combo?  Would TW/RAD or TW/INV be good?  If you have one and can share a build, that would be very helpful.  thanks

Bio isn't too bad if you use Minimum FX on the more ugly powers.  You just end up looking like your glowing from different places depend on what you have on.  I have a TW/Will Brute and its a boss and AV eater if you can survive the AV alpha Strike.

Here's a start.  Softcapped energy defense, hard-capped SL resist.  http://www.cohplanner.com/mids/download.php?uc=1531&c=699&a=1398&f=HEX&dc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

absolutely.

.../Inv can be built stronger (easy/high Def & some DDR), but /Rad has better DPS synergy potential with TW (+Rech & +End). in the hardest content, /Rad will need clicks more often even if it's an insanely durable build, which begins to diminish it's DPS advantage slightly.

The idea with TW is to have the least clicky secondary as possible, so you do not lose your momentum and have to constantly have the slow animation of TW.  I paired mine on the brute with TW/WP and it works amazingly well, it has great DPS, great survivability and can fill in the tank gap as needed

As mentioned though, TW is amazing on a scrapper due to the crits.  I am about to make a TW/Inv Scrapper.    I would imagine a fun pair would be TW/DA on brute or Scrapper, but depends on how much patience and pain you want to go through to 50! lol...

Here is my TW/WP Brute for ideas

I'm curious what folks think of TW/Regen? It seems to hit the same points that /Inv and /WP do - few clickables, good passives, +END. How does Regen compare to these two, when paired up with TW?

Edit: After discussing it on the Discord, I realize Regen actually has a lot of clicks and is not a great choice. Rad Armor sounds much more like what I want!

As you mentioned, regen has some clicks.  But really the biggest and most specific down fall of /Regen is the entire set.  Period.

The least click is /WP (absolutely 0 clicks) or /Elec Armor which only has one short animating heal that also gives a global endurance discount.

Rad armour has many clicks (heal, shield, PBAoE damage, an actually useful T9)
