Rad/?

Hi folks, 

I'm looking to create a Rad blaster to strictly solo level door missions and solo whatever I'm able to at 50. What secondary power set do you all recommend for the easiest time with this?

I love my Rad/Fire, but I'm not sure what soloing at low level would be like. I teamed a lot going up. I can solo without a problem at level 50... not sure if this helps.

I haven't played a rad blaster before, but based on your planned playstyle I'd suggest devices. You've got built in stealth/recovery/regen, a damage/hit boosting drone, the ability to lay out mines for anything that gets close, a high powered stun gun, and even your t1 is better because of the inherent slow.

Seconding rad/fire.  I also love rad/mental.  Any secondary with powers that work well in PBAoE range pair well with rad blast's irradiate.

My Rad/Energy is at 45 atm. I've slowed down her progress because I enjoy the character so much. did most things solo. She's a blapper, btw, for those up close and personal... erm... discussions with the enemy mobs.

Rad/Martial is loaded with PBAOEs and has the very fun ki punch-then-snipe (or Cosmic Burst) as the boss floats away. Also, Cosmic Burst (stun+damage) + Throw Sand (AoE stun) seems like it has potential but I only just leveled up to it (mid 30s) so I'm not sure how it will actually play out.
