Beastybunny Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Hi all. I could use some help. I was working on my base and moving storage around. I selected a full storage of salvage so I could move it over and when I let go, it was gone. It is not in any other room of my base. It must still exist as the room will not let me add another object and the ctrl+Z option does not work. How can I get this back? Is it somewhere I can go grab it and put it back? Wild hate to lose all the salvage. 😢
Patti Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 I think there's a current room button that shows you everything in your room as a list. Maybe that will work 1
Beastybunny Posted October 2, 2020 Author Posted October 2, 2020 You're a genius!!!! Some ow it snapped over another container on the other side of the room. No idea how that happened! But I now have it back where it belongs. Thank you sooooo much!!!!! 2
Retired Game Master GM Tock Posted October 2, 2020 Retired Game Master Posted October 2, 2020 On occasion the Base Editor hiccups and refreshes your position in the base instance. When that happens, if you're holding something it tends to "hop" walls or get pasted to the ceiling or other weirdness. If you changed nothing else, pressing CTRL-Z undoes the change that just happened. Doesn't always work, but helped me on a few complex assemblies when I accidentally move a lamp on Surface Mode that's now stuck to a tree.
Eva Destruction Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 Unfortunately Ctrl+Z doesn't work on storage items.
