socom242 Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Greetings all 😄 I’ve been asked to post my Invulnerability/Super Strength Tanker “Pax Americana” who regularly attends the Hami Raids on Indom server as a Main Tank. I’m sure there could be other builds made for Hami raids, but this seems to serve how we run them. I’ve included a screenshot of the slots and the enhancement icons for the builds, but here’s a quick listing: INVULNERABILITY Resist Physical Damage - 3 Slot Aegis Temp Invulnerability - 4 Slot Aegis Resist Elements - 3 Slot Aegis Unyielding - 4 Slot Aegis (including the Psionic Global) Resist Energies - 2 Slot Aegis/ 1 Steadfast Protection (Resist/Defense Global) Invincibility - 4 Slot Reactive Defenses Tough Hide - Luck of Gambler/Reactive Defense/Shield Wall Globals Unstoppable - Recharge SUPER STRENGTH Jab - Superior Gauntlet Fist Tank AT Punch - Gladiator Strike Haymaker - Hecatomb Taunt - Perfect Zinger Handclap - Absolute Amazement 5 Slot/Sudden Acceleration (KB to KD) Knockout Blow - Superior Might of the Tanker Rage - Recharge Hurl - Apocalypse Foot Stomp - Armageddon 5 Slot/Sudden Acceleration (KB to KD) FLIGHT Hover - 4 Slot Reactive Defenses As far as other powers you see in the screenshot, it’s all IO Enhancments. As you can see, I sacrificed the 6th slot in Handclap and Footstomp in order to stop Knockback, but that’s how I always play. It’s possible you can swap out some of the Defensive sets for others, but for how I play it works for me. Also, please note I have ALL the Accolades Powers in the game And My Incarnates are all Teir 4. Alpha - Resilient Core Paragon Judgement - Ion Core Final Judgement Interface - Paralytic Core Flawless Lore - Longbow Core Superior Ally Destiny - Barrier Core Epiphany Hybrid - Melee Core Embodiment As far as any tactics involved, I just listen to the raid leaders instructions During a “Zerg” I am the Main Tank. Which means ALL I DO I RUN UP TO HAMI AND JUST TAUNT. I dont need to strike him. As always, I keep track of my EoE (Essense of Earth) Inspirations and sometime I will take a Medium or Large Luck/Rugged/Break Free to help with any extra Defense/Resist/Status Protection. Usually I use 4 or 5 EoE during a Zerg while the Raid Leaders take out the Mitos. Also, the Raid Leader usually asks anyone available to Heal or Buff me. But it’s important to note that during the attack, you CANNOT be directly Healed OR even take Green/Blue Inspirations. THEY WILL NOT WORK. The only thing that works are any Regeneration/Recovery Buffs that they can give you. Whenever I go down, it’s usually because they try to “heal me” and that just doesn’t work. If anything, just save any big regen/recover buffs for the Main Tank. A “Hamikaze” is a bit different. For those, it’s a coordinated effort between 4 or more Tanks/Brutes to “taunt” only the Yellow Mito’s around Hami. After engaged, everyone else will be Teleported in with ALL LORES ready to attack Hami. If all goes well, it’ll be over in 30 secs to 1 min. Maybe you’ll use 1 or 2 EoE at the most. Extra Break Frees are very useful. But you don’t need to “strike” Hami to get credit. Just taunting is enough. Anyway, inclosing, I’ll say as long as you have good resistance/defenses and you have a good heal/buff team with you anyone can Main Tank Hami. I’m glad I can participate in any way with this Raid and I’ve tried to attend every Hami Raid on Indom (6:30pm to 8pm EST). Hope this helps 😄 Cya around !!! 3 1

You look to be over slotted for S/L resist bonuses, so the 6th slot bonus in the Tanker ATOs don't seen to do much for you. Perhaps drop the Acc/Dam to free up slots for damage procs or to move elsewhere. Might get more out of Blistering Cold in Punch, or another set with recharge bonuses. Maybe add the Gladiator's +Def Proc to Unstoppable. You can use the Overwhelming Force KB to KD in Foot Stomp to squeeze a few more points of damage out. Health and Stamina give twice the regen and recovery than Physical Perfection. Using IOs you get more out of the each of the first 2 IOS in Health and Stamina. The 3rd slots in PP only give about a 1% bonus each. Swap that up a bit then look to maybe add the Panacea proc, Miracle and Numina for Health if you have slots. The plus Heal or end to Stamina maybe. Another option if you do not use all your attacks, drop one for Dull Pain. Not only a heal but great for extra regen for it's duration. I might be tempted to use Resist sets that give defense to S/L, but with Invincibility saturated you should have soft capped S/L. Anything else you might have to have specific goals in mind; i.e. more global recharge/Psi protection, more specific defenses to type X. 2

LiquidBandage Posted July 2, 2021 Posted July 2, 2021 I haven't played since early Feb, but the Hamidon raids on indom have always had an exceptional EMP to cover the main tank. It has always been a team effort. Great tanks, great healers/buffers/shielders. 1
