Forums question - search by user

I'm wondering if there's a way to find posts by a specific user in a specific sub-forum.  This has come up for me a number of times, trying to find posts by myself and by others in specific sections.  If there's a way to do it I can't find it anywhere.

You can search within the subforum for posts you've started and ones you've posted in. Not sure you can for other people tho.

Go to the topic listings and at the top of the list, click sort by, then custom, then filter and change it to "topics I started" or "topics I've posted in"
