Crab Backpack

Is there any downside to allowing Crabs/Banes to hide the backpack when not in combat like a weapon? I love my Crab but I don't always want to have the pack out. Or perhaps give alternates looks to it so we can at least look somewhat heroic.

Standard Code Rant ^(TM) applies, of course, but alternate skins for the crab pack is probably easier than hiding the thing.  The backpack actually (IIRC) warps the character model somewhat, so you'll end up looking kind of like a question mark if you take it off.
