Darkir Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 You'd have to check, but I don't think you can super jump while hover is on....not 100% sure though, it's been awhile since I played with hover. Of course, you could just turn off hover when traveling, but hover may work like combat jumping. If I activate ninja run or super speed, combat jumping automatically turns off and vice-versa. In terms of vengeance verses maneuvers, I would take maneuvers. Maneuvers is a toggle so it's uptime is 100% and it gives def to the whole team. Vengeance is a powerful buff, but it requires someone to die in order to use it, which ideally shouldn't happen and in many groups never happens. Both can have defense sets however which allows you to put a LotG global recharge in both and get 15% recharge to all your powers (7.5% each). Now, dark/dark offers a lot of -acc which theoretically allows you not to worry as much about hitting the def softcap (45%), but typically in real world use, you always get hit by some ranged guy who isn't debuffed and so -acc isn't really as good as it looks on paper. In terms of sets, I'd focus on trying to get your def to the softcap above everything else, then recharge, then dmg and accuracy. You don't have a snipe so you don't need too much accuracy, just enough to hit +3 mobs (you'll have the +1 lvl shift alpha, so really +4s). You can see your chance to hit in pines by changing the base tohit to 48 in the configuration. Just get to 95% and you are good. Recharge is really really good on /dark because the more you have, the more far pits you can have out. I'd aim for enough recharge to have two far pits out at all times and perma hasten. Play around with Pines and see what you can come up with. Hope this helps. As always these are just my opinions and I could be wrong. I used to have a 50 fire/dark Corr back on live, but that was a long long time ago. P.S. do you play on Torchbearer? Might be fun to team with you. I'm having a great time on my fire/time and fire/kin corruptors.....I just love corruptors so much.
Yipp Posted June 1, 2019 Author Posted June 1, 2019 Thank's for the feedback Darkir! Yup Torchbearer is where I am located.... global is @I Am Despair Character is Dark Messenger
Erydanus Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I don't see anything that would be hugely problematic so it's probably just a case of you having several toggles going and then spamming more attacks than your recovery can keep up with, then along comes the hasten crash and you're hurting. Loading it into mids even running all your leadership and hover you're using 1.4/s and generating 3.1/s and that leaves you 1.7/s to spend on attacks. Normally I don't think you could even pull off an end strain but the thing about hasten is it enables you to burn through your endurance faster. Are you by any chance also fighting end draining foes like carnies or sappers? If you're on the edge of having problems they'll push you over. That's why most epic pools add in an endurance management power. Speaking of... - dark consumption is an endurance recovery power and you only 1 slotted it. If you need to suck up more endurance then you need to actually use this tool which has been provided to you. I think you clearly need 2 recharge 2 endmod in it if you're having problems. Where you'll find the slots for that *shrug* Maybe yank 1 recharge off soul transfer. - howling twilight - I triple dog dare you to right click on that power in game and read the entire detailed power description. :) See me on Excelsior as Eridanus - Whisperkill - Kid Physics - Ranger Wilde - The Hometown Scrapper - Firewatch - and more!

I have found zero Endurance issues. Also, I only use Hasten to speed recovery of long CD powers as my combat rotation has no need for Hasten. Strongly considering respecing out of Hasten for Maneuvers or bringing back Moonbeam (after snipe change). Also with my recovery being so high, when the hasten crash happens it almost immediately fills back up. Howling Twilight is a power I did not truly understand until recently. When I respec I will add slots (taken from what?) and use it offensively, Its a great feeling when you learn something new! How would you slot Howling Twilight as an offensive power? Dark Consumption I now rarely use now that I have all my sets. Its 3 slotted with for the set recovery boost. With my sets as I am currently running I rarely ever have Endurance issues. ONLY time I do is when I am fight a solo AV/Elite Boss and the fight takes too long... then I am screwed :P I also added another KB protection so I am at 8 instead of 4 as I found 4 to be insufficient Final build what I am running now Level 1: Gloom (A) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage (3) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance (3) Thunderstrike - Damage/Recharge (13) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge (19) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (39) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance/Recharge Level 1: Twilight Grasp (A) Touch of the Nictus - Accuracy/Healing (7) Touch of the Nictus - Healing (7) Touch of the Nictus - Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge (43) Touch of the Nictus - Heal/HitPoints/Regeneration/Recharge (43) Siphon Insight - Accuracy/ToHit Debuff (46) Siphon Insight - Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge Level 2: Dark Blast (A) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage (5) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance (5) Thunderstrike - Damage/Recharge (13) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge (19) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (46) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance/Recharge Level 4: Tar Patch (A) Tempered Readiness - Endurance/Recharge/Slow (9) Pacing of the Turtle - Endurance/Recharge/Slow (9) Curtail Speed - Endurance/Recharge/Slow Level 6: Combat Jumping (A) Luck of the Gambler - Recharge Speed Level 8: Tenebrous Tentacles (A) Trap of the Hunter - Accuracy/Recharge (11) Trap of the Hunter - Chance of Damage(Lethal) (11) Trap of the Hunter - Accuracy/Endurance (15) Trap of the Hunter - Accuracy/Immobilize/Recharge (21) Trap of the Hunter - Immobilize/Accuracy (39) Trap of the Hunter - Endurance/Immobilize Level 10: Super Jump (A) Blessing of the Zephyr Knockback Protection Level 12: Night Fall (A) Positron's Blast - Accuracy/Damage (15) Positron's Blast - Damage/Endurance (23) Positron's Blast - Damage/Recharge (23) Positron's Blast - Damage/Range (25) Positron's Blast - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (39) Positron's Blast - Chance of Damage(Energy) Level 14: Howling Twilight (A) Recharge Reduction IO Level 16: Shadow Fall (A) Steadfast Protection - Resistance/+Def 3% (17) Steadfast Protection - Resistance/Endurance (17) Steadfast Protection - Knockback Protection (36) Red Fortune - Defense/Endurance (40) Red Fortune - Defense (50) Red Fortune - Endurance Level 18: Boxing (A) Empty Level 20: Fearsome Stare (A) Nightmare - Accuracy/Endurance (21) Nightmare - Accuracy/Fear/Recharge (31) Nightmare - Accuracy/Recharge Level 22: Darkest Night (A) Dark Watcher's Despair - To Hit Debuff/Recharge/Endurance (37) Dark Watcher's Despair - Recharge/Endurance (37) Dark Watcher's Despair - To Hit Debuff/Endurance (48) Dark Watcher's Despair - To Hit Debuff Level 24: Tough (A) Aegis - Resistance/Endurance (25) Titanium Coating - Resistance/Endurance (45) Impervium Armor - Resistance/Endurance Level 26: Life Drain (A) Touch of the Nictus - Accuracy/Healing (27) Touch of the Nictus - Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge (27) Touch of the Nictus - Chance for Negative Energy Damage (29) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage (29) Thunderstrike - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance (50) Thunderstrike - Damage/Endurance Level 28: Petrifying Gaze (A) Lockdown - Accuracy/Hold (31) Lockdown - Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge/Hold (36) Lockdown - Chance for +2 Mag Hold Level 30: Weave (A) Red Fortune - Defense/Endurance (31) Red Fortune - Endurance (36) Red Fortune - Defense Level 32: Blackstar (A) Obliteration - Damage (33) Obliteration - Accuracy/Recharge (33) Obliteration - Damage/Recharge (33) Obliteration - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge (34) Obliteration - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance/Recharge (40) Obliteration - Chance for Smashing Damage Level 35: Dark Consumption (A) Efficacy Adaptor - EndMod/Accuracy (37) Efficacy Adaptor - EndMod (40) Efficacy Adaptor - EndMod/Accuracy/Recharge Level 38: Hasten (A) Recharge Reduction IO (42) Recharge Reduction IO (42) Recharge Reduction IO Level 41: Dark Embrace (A) Aegis - Resistance/Endurance (42) Aegis - Resistance (43) Aegis - Psionic/Status Resistance (50) Titanium Coating - Resistance/Endurance Level 44: Soul Transfer (A) Recharge Reduction IO (45) Recharge Reduction IO Level 47: Soul Drain (A) Adjusted Targeting - To Hit Buff/Recharge (48) Adjusted Targeting - Recharge (48) Adjusted Targeting - To Hit Buff/Endurance/Recharge Level 49: Dark Servant (A) Accuracy IO Level 1: Sprint (A) Run Speed IO Level 2: Rest (A) Recharge Reduction IO Level 2: Swift (A) Run Speed IO Level 2: Health (A) Numina's Convalescence - +Regeneration/+Recovery (45) Numina's Convalescence - Heal (46) Miracle - +Recovery Level 2: Hurdle (A) Jumping IO Level 2: Stamina (A) Performance Shifter - Chance for +End (34) Performance Shifter - EndMod (34) Endurance Modification IO
ParaBruce Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Could you share the .mxd file or Pine's data block so I don't have to retype it? :)
Erydanus Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Ah that explains it. You could probably take some endurance reduction out of shadow fall and put in some +def or +resist at this point then. For Howling Twilight I think 2 level 50 recharge IOs is pretty good as that puts you near the ED cap and brings you down to about 2 minutes from 3 for recast. One stun recharge would be nice and bring the 15 second stun up to 21 seconds, making it line up nicely with Dark Pit for stacking. Everything else either can't be enhanced (-regen, accuracy) or is pointless (10 points of damage!!). It doesn't really lend itself to stun sets either with the notable exception of Absolute Amazement. A couple pieces of that and some generic IOs would be great but 3 generic would probably do the trick a lot more simply. Because this power counts as several different types of attacks there are a TON of procs that can be jammed into it, but I don't think they're worth using. You could probably steal 1 slot from Tough as you have Dark Embrace and Shadowfall and Weave after all, and 1 from the self-rez and put them on HT. See me on Excelsior as Eridanus - Whisperkill - Kid Physics - Ranger Wilde - The Hometown Scrapper - Firewatch - and more!
Yipp Posted June 6, 2019 Author Posted June 6, 2019 Just got all my my Incarnates today T1 or T2 except Hybrid a way to go on that..... Decided I will chill on any respec until July give myself time to be sure I know what I want to do. Also going to keep my incarnates at T2 until I am sure I selected the ones I want. Right now If I was going to respec I would drop hasten, grab maneuvers, drop one slot from Dark embrace and two slot Howling and Maneuvers. I am sure by the end of June I will have changed my mind ;D Alpha : Cardiac for Range, damage resistance & endurance reduction - My Endurance is fine except when fighting really long AV/Elite Boss fights going to build on my strengths Judgement: Cryonic like cone attacks... However the idea of Soul Drain Void+Blackstar calls to me Destiny: Clarion for the range, status protection Lore: Cimerorans Interface: Diamagnetic for the Regen & to hit debuff
