Background info:

 

This is the first scratch build I've made since coming back to City.

This build is for a character playing as part of a group of other Nature Affinity characters.

I'm happy with the primary/secondary powers as is, but could see adding Aqua Bolt and/or Rebirth if required for additional slotting.  I have no use for the rest of them.

I'm 4.5 seconds off of perma Overgrowth. I'm OK with that but wouldn't cry if someone can tell me how to make it permaI'm more concerned with shoring up some defenses and resistances.

Travel power will be Fly or Mystic Flight.

Afterburner is a placeholder for Evasive Maneuvers.

When building a corruptor you have to ask if you want to depend on your team for your survivability and go for all recharge and damage or do you want to be a dps/tank hybrid in your own right. I almost always choose the latter for my builds, I sacrifice recharge and procs for defense and resistance. I think this is completely worth it because it allows me to solo very hard missions and not die in teams (I also always remember that my dps is 0 when I'm dead).

Thanks much for the response!

 

Given that this is a dedicated teaming build for the moment, I'm ok depending on stacked team buffs.  Once this project is done I might revisit this build, or make a 2nd build.

I would at least consider something like this to make your defenses and resists at range very solid. You'll be capped at melee too with some team buffs and you can use the FF recharge procs for more overgrowth.

Here's how I'd do Water/Nature. Keeping Tidal because Tidal is really useful for Geyser. Plus much as I love Dark epic on my Kin I find it hard to fit in aand use well on a fairly ranged Water/Nature. Like Darkirs it relies a bit on FF procs to close the gap on Overgrowth but it's reasonably cheap to build. 

 

You could also look at switching Dehydrate for something like Arcane Bolt to open Sorcery if you wanted to squeeze Rune of Power in.
