plainguy Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Would it be possible to make Group Fly be auto turned off and just have the player go to Null the Gull to turn it on ? This QOL would help prevent pitting player against player when it comes to group fly in a team. Again this is more prevalent I would imagine for Masterminds using Group Fly for pets. Masterminds to some degree already have some stigma, adding Group Fly just adds to this mix. Again limited population. No need to have issues in such a limited population over a power. Mind you I know going to Pocket D and visiting Null the Gull shouldn't be game breaking request if you want it off. I would have no issue going there if on a team and I wanted it off. But again not everyone is accommodating or understanding. I do get it easier said than done as well. 2 Why Softcap is important: https://dechskaison.blogspot.com/2011/01/why-is-softcap-so-important.html Limits: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Limits Attack Mechanics: https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Attack_Mechanics Semi & Petless Mastermind Builds: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/10994-petless-and-semi-petless-masterminds/
ironjoe Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 As a better alternative, can this be made a toggle in options so players can toggle it on/off no matter where they are? Sometimes players like the option but other times it's not as advantageous. As a person that plays Masterminds on occasion, the Group Fly changes have been fantastic. I would just like to give other players the option to turn it off or on more easily. 2
Greycat Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 I'd still go for a menu option or slash commend being available for the same reason ironjoe states, but I wouldn't be against this - especially as someone with a lot of alts. The option's there already, just swap what it already is set to by default. 2 Kheldian Lore and Backstory Guide 2.0: HC edition Out to EAT : A look at Epic ATs - what is, could have been, and never was Want 20 merits? RageusQuitus2 Posted June 1, 2021 Posted June 1, 2021 Good solution that hopefully doesnt involve alot of coding change. More like a bug fix. 1
arcane Posted June 2, 2021 Posted June 2, 2021 Probably a good idea, but sad and telling that a power’s preferred state is doing nothing. Makes me wonder if it would be better off as a power built-in to pet classes somewhere rather than a pool power. 1

Yet i cant find a way for them to travel with me. And when I do its a pita for others, and takes huge investments in flight or tp. 1
