Good day all,

 

I have been mucking around with an Plant/Earth dom, and have been really enjoying it. After doing a couple passes on the idea for the build, I was hoping to get someone to take a peek and see if there is any optimization for it.

 

I usually prefer the resist armors, since I like taking a layered approach, but if there is proof on the other wise, I will check it out.

I moved a few things around to get you the defense and resist procs earlier for leveling or exemping, a bit more range and E/N defense, and a bit more damage.

These work fine when you buy them attuned (except for Shield Wall and Gladiator's, they already work as attuned since they are PVP IO's) down to the level at which they can be slotted minimum. You can put them in a level 49 power slot and they'll still work down to that minimum, if attuned or a PVP IO. Since the market can attune them free of charge, it's a pretty good way to go and gives you power by level selection freedom.

I store them in my base as attuned or level 10 and slot them as soon as possible so that I can enjoy them on the ride up as well.  If you PL to 50, or just don't slot your build until after 50, then yeah, attuneds or level 10s work just as well later in the build.

I see.  You mentioned exemplar as a purpose so I assumed you meant that they needed to be slotted earlier for exemplar purposes, I just wanted to clear up that it wasn't necessary for that purpose.
