Get this error message when I run Tequilia

Manifest download error for http://patch.savecoh.com/manifest.xml
An exception occurred during a WebClient request.

 

I've downloaded and installed it twice and get the same error message. If I run the program in admin, it runs, but the game has no sound.

You should consider installing a separate install of the Homecoming Launcher, make sure you are not installed to any Windows controlled area such as " Program Files " or the desktop. Create a new folder on your hard drive and install it there. It may be Windows creating these issues.

I installed it in Program files (x86)/games/COH

 

So I should just put a folder directly on the C drive?

This morning I just typed Coh homecoming into the browser's URL line (right after I deleted all old files). That brought me to the official site. Clicked on "Installation Guide". When I clicked on the provided installation link, it directed me to install it at "C: games/Homecoming (new folders). Did exactly that and it started downloading "Homecoming" (sounds pretty simple so far -- wish I had seen this upfront instead of following the instructions of an old YouTube video).

 

It worked!
