Beam Rifle/Kin corr

Hello Corruptors!! I wanted to ask you guys, anyone ever tried beam/kin corr? How would this pairing go? High dmg or just a waste of time? Thanks!

This pairing seems like it would be at odds. Kinetics requires you to get into melee range a lot, while BR is all ranged and has 2 cones.

What about Beam Rifle/Energy?

 

-Res is pretty much the only characteristics you can't build for with set bonuses, and energy has a power that increases secondary abilities.

That would be a blaster, not a corruptor. Also, Power Boost doesn't effect -res . All -res powers are flagged to ignore boosts.

I would never play a -Res toon then.
