I don't know if this helps anyone's choices on the ATO sets

But the Fiery Orb that spawns from Dominating Grasp is, at a minimum, buffed by Assault. It's reasonable to assume it is also buffed by Tactics. This is all from your self buffs. I don't have it in me to load up two characters to see if it gets buffed by leadership from others, but I don't see why not.

 

Obviously with it only doing 5 pulses of 11.122 damage, this isn't some kind of game breaking discovery. I guess if it somehow get boosted to 400% damage in its short lifespan it could be kinda threatening. Whatever, do with this information what you will.

I always figured it was great as a new target for mobs to attack instead of my Dom, never considered it as a damage source.

It just occurred to me that I can probably scan it with the Power Analyzer to see what its stats are.

I can't, but apparently I can just look at its attributes. I couldn't seem to get that to come up earlier.

So yeah, he has 1044.12 health and no resists/defense except for what you provide for him. Which is 200 less health than my character has, but yeah, he can take a punch for a minute.

Achilles, fury of the gladiator, annihilation, and sleet tend to be more realistic options to buff the damage here rather than imagining your fiery orbs get fulcrum shifted.
