Elec/Regen build notes

Dusting this guy off with changes to elec.  Havent' actually played it yet though as I had stripped him down and sold his IOs.  Any changes to build needed as a result of the changes to the powers now?

Yes, you should have Voltaic Sentinel.  It is the keystone of Electric Blast's single-target damage.

Yeah, need to take it.  Did a cheap build to run around with before spending too much.  Guess I need to take the first power instead of second for the attack opportunity instead of defensive one.  Been awhile since I build a sentinel.

I'd personally swap the slotting for Ball Lightning and Thunderous Blast. Drop 1 of the slots off Hasten; put it on Hover, put it on the end of Ragnarok, just please don't use an entire slot on getting another 7.95% recharge. Probably put Soulbound into VS.

It does, but I mean 4-piecing the set. It'll more damage in general from the set, on top of the proc, and give a 4 piece bonus for more damage.

Took it for a minor test drive tonight. The three single target attacks don’t quite fill out a chain with two having no recharge slotted. The procs are awesome though. First attack is up quick enough though so a very minor issue.  Not getting the point of second wind but need to try it out more. Took ageless but might have to go barrier for a better oh shit button. Mog is good but only seems to delay the inevitable.  I’ll probably do apex/Tin tomorrow and see how that goes. It’s really fun and has good st and aoe.

You could try filling with ball lightning if your endurance can handle it.  It does the same DPA as charged bolts.  When I have an odd gap on my chain with a sent like that I'll alternate filling with a decent AoE, aim, or the nuke.  Since sent nukes recharge so fast I don't feel bad about spending them on a single target if the fight is prolonged.  Thunderous blast is pretty fast after the buff so it's DPA is fairly good.

Seriously, use it just for the rez, the 15 second invincibility is orders of magnitude more useful than the +maxhp. The power is poorly thought out, sents dont have the durability, let alone regen sents, to risk being low enough hp to get any real use from it.

I have a Electric/Regen Sent myself and yes Second Wind is confusing and has two effects. A rez and a heal and it can be confusing, but Second Wind is most powerful when u are 30 percent or below health. It will also cap your HP to 2088 though you should be there or already pretty close.
