While I am beginning to share builds (just got MIDS on a new laptop), I wanted to share a build I have been running for a while.  I cannot take complete credit for this as this is a heavily modified version of a build that @Doomrider helped me with some time ago.  Again, I owe him a world of thanks for opening my mind up to what was possible!  Of course, I took what he taught me and ran with it.  

 

The reason I even did this to begin with is because Kheldians are my favorite AT in the game and I became obsessed with seeing if I could effectively farm with one.  I was told by many: "LOL PB!".  Yet, I set out to silence the naysayers.  It is not just about farming, but farming efficiently.  This is the true challenge of any non-Brute.

 

This build focuses on cycling between all three forms, but mostly Nova and Human forms, for maximum damage and to minimize cool-downs and maximize end regen.  Additionally, the build focuses on cycling between two powers for achieving consistent Defense caps: 1. Unleash Potential 2. Barrier Core Epiphany.  By cycling between each of these when the other is on CD, the build maintains a constant S/L Def of 45+%.  This build is also very effective in group content, so it really is a catch-all build.

I do have a question about your s/l defence stating that you can reach 45% constantly, barrier is 10 seconds 120 second cool down and unleased potential is 60 second duration and 171 second cooldown, if my math is correct, leaves a gives you 70 seconds of capped defence and a large gap?

Occasionally, there is a small gap, but there are also several FF procs to consider + hasten.  I just checked again and they still usually overlap.  Although, it is important to consider that barrier's effectiveness does weaken.  So, by the time you can unleash potential again, your defense may be around 38%.  Honestly, the build is so strong, you won't notice these small gaps.   Hope this helps!

Nice, only getting around 16% defence to melee, ranged and aoe just with set bonuses, perma hasten and lf without incarnates or procs. Built for purpose or playing at nearly any level and still get as many set benefits as possible. But defo nice and interesting build.

I need to look at my PB and see about maybe making a Alt S/L farming build, can't recall my numbers, but pretty sure S/L is 30+% melee and Eclipse is Perma.  My WS is Fire-Capped due to the Winter Set IOs and is a joy to Fire Farm. Have to look at my PBs AOE numbers also to see what kind of rhythm I could achieve.

If you guys can’t squeak the full 45% in your builds, keep in mind that you can aim for 32.5% and eat a single Luck to hit softcap.

 

With the rate of ispir drops when farming this gives you functionally soft-capped Defense.

Late reply, but the only one I'd say is "mandatory" is Spiritual Core Paragon for your Alpha.  It gives the biggest Recharge buff you can get (45%) as well as ups your Healing and Stun by 33%.

 

The only reason you may not want to go Spiritual Core is if you're running a fully procced build.  Then you may wanna go with Intuition or Musculature, as the Recharge on Spiritual can mess with procs' firing chances.

 

Everything else is purely preference.  I go with Clarion for my Destiny, as it lets a Warshade play in Human form with no mez issues.  If you take the 120s duration one you can autofire it regardless of form.

 

For Judgment I took Void for the Quasar/Void two-hit nuke, but again you can take whatever.  For a Peacebringer, you can probably take Mighty and color it to match your PB punches.  Hammer em with Dawnstrike and then launch them with Mighty. 

 

Keep in mind you can use all your Incarnate powers in any form.  It's worth putting your Judgment on Nova's and Dwarf's attack bar.
