I know for my build, Aegis was chosen over Titanium, purely for the Psi Resist.  I did look back and forth between Aegis and Titanium.

I put Kismet in Combat Jumping, because I didn't take Tactics, and I figure it'll also be handy for when exemping down, like Positron TFs.

Geode does hardcap recovery, but it also takes you out of the fight, I like relying on it for when I did to regain health myself.

Psi resist is a valid concern, though you do have softcapped defenses to it.

If you have 140%+ defense without Kismet against +3 you'll have.. 200% against +1? No idea. You can see for yourself anyway. Change the options of Mids in Exemplaring&Math. 48% is to fight +3, 39% is to fight +4, 75% is to fight +0.

What I mean with the Geode remark was the slotting of endurance in it though I realize you were aiming for the run speed unique as well. But since recovery is hardcapped it's smarter to slot health so time spent recovering in Geode is shorter, especially since it appears it gets broken easily.

Here's what I've changed up on with all that's talked about.  Basically capped F/C Resist, with softcapped S/L/E/N/P Defense.

Don't feel the need to chase +HP Bonuses, as Earth's Embrace does a good job of capping your HP.  So, Unbreakable Guard just isn't needed.

Other's are likely to skip Fly, which would make it easier to grab Hasten with Super Speed or Super Jump as your travel.  For me, Fly works for the concept.

Char can be dropped easily as well.  Likely for Body Mastery for Conserve Power and Physical Perfection.  I can see the appeal.  However, concept and I like having a Hold and Range attack power for Hami Raids and LGTF, luckily Claws comes with two ranged attacks.

Moved the LotG +RCH out of Minerals, as I was softcapped to Psi without it, to Stone Skin to increase it's Defense.

Titanium Coating does seem to be the way to go for the Resists, but don't feel the +HP is much benefit.

I can see the appeal for FU > SL > FO > Repeat or even FU > SL > FO > SW > Repeat (had a build with this one, a bit heavier on the END, Physical Perfection a must imo) which was more fun to use than the 3 attacks one, but I love adding in Eviscerate.  Big power hit feeling to it.

If you feel like you can sacrifice the 6% S/L Resist that Superior Scrapper's Strike gives, could put the Critical Hit Bonus IO into Strike and move that slot to other places as well.  More defense in Stone Skin or maybe an ENDMOD, +END PROC (Performance Shifter), or +Heal Proc (Power Transfer) in Crystal Armor.

You need to add 5% to Psi for Psi to be softcapped (so 50%) because Mids erroneously adds 5% to psi from Stone Skin. The Mids' devs know of this and it will be patched soon.

Just like me you'll have to rework everything for those slots now 😄

OOF that is a good call out haha. Did the latest build you post account for this, or is that the one you need to re-work?

I'm not sure which. But if it has 50% to psi defense then yes.

Okay, that's easy enough to do 🙂  A quick look makes me realize, Maneuvers without the LotG is only losing .3% Defense to all.

That's why I've replaced it with Combat Jumping in all my builds now. It loses 0.3%, I think, and CJ is almost free.

I concur. Only time I go Mane over CJ is when I know I also have to grab assault and/or tactics.

Well, I did take Assault.  Also, it pushed me over the the softcap on a S/L/P.  Also just nice to have for some teams, but if I didn't need it...hmmm...would make wish I could take TWO Epics 😛

I seem to have gone in a different direction than the rest of you. I was hoping to finish playtesting the build before posting it, as I do not have the Incarnate abilities yet, but it works just fine without them. As has been stated, the lack of DDR can become an issue if things go sideways, but I have built in a little cushion with the choice of Barrier. Ageless is always a possibility.

Geode can be used between fights as needed to buff up the end, especially against drainers, but the build runs well for minutes at a time without. Evasive Maneuvers is there only for fighting anti flyers and as a LotG mule, and for long distance travel. Focused Accuracy is there for the emergency situations if you get swarmed by accuracy debuffers, and the frankenslotting takes care of the debuff of slow and recharge, things that I find horribly annoying. This is designed to be a universal build, and the ideal Claws attack chain runs with hasten, which is perma with a single proc of FF +Recharge (both Shockwave and Focus carry it).

Comments are welcome, as this is my first scrapper in a long time

Here's my Claw/Stone Scrapper. He is very tanky, and deals respectable damage. New Stone is rough on End, so I ended up needing to go with Ageless for sustain, as Geode isn't reliable enough. In fact, Geode itself feels almost entirely skippable, easily the weakest link in the set. It either needs a major buff or rework, as the state it's in now is poor at best.

How is it sans Eviscerate? I see a lot of builds that don't take it, and I'm slowly getting why. I don't use it very often, not with enough recharge that the other two aoes seem to be up every time I hit follow-up.

In defense of Eviscerate, the animation time is similar to a heavier attack from other sets. The difference is it is a cone. For Brutes and Tanks their version of Spin recharges in 14 seconds. Scrapper's version recharges in 9.2 so they have less need for a third AoE. The +50% Crit proc in FU is just so ridiculously good as well. I've gotten my AoE attack chain on my Claws/ea on a team to be FU + Spin via buffs.

Top 10 Most Fun 50s.

1. Without Mercy: Claws/ea Scrapper. 2. Outsmart: Fort 3. Sneakers: Stj/ea Stalker. 4. Waterpark: Water/temp Blaster. 5. Project Next: Ice/stone Brute. 6. Mighty Matt: Rad/bio Brute. 7. Without Pause: Claws/wp Brute. 8. Emma Strange: Ill/dark. 9. Nothing But Flowers: Plant/storm Controller. 10. Obsidian Smoke: Fire/dark Corr.
