What good IS that damned Crey freeze gun?

I've never been able to understand the usefulness of that once-every-25-minutes freeze gun we get from the Crey accolade. What's the point of an immobilize you can only use every 25 minutes? What circumstances might it actually be useful in? Can anyone shed some light?

it's not useful to everyone but having a extra oh shit power can help out a lot since you can unlock most a very low levels

AFAIK it's a SUPER high mag immobilize that can immobilize almost anything... So you can run away.

Keeps the electric bills lower in the summer if you don't want to crank the AC...Even supers gotta pay those electric bills...

 

Well except for Supers with electrical powers...or energy powers...or...

Honestly, it is basically an escape power of sorts, immobiilize most targets you blast with it then retreat, preferably into an ouroborus portal

I got a kill with it in PvP once. The guy was running away and it was the only ranged attack I had that was charged.
