Request: Bring back old MA kicks as customizations

I mean the old

. I loved the original Storm Kick back in the day, it was so over-the-top. I would love to be able to select it as an alternate animation.

 

Less attached to the original Crane Kick but why not?

They were changed because the set animation times were altered, and those kicks don't match the new (much faster) animations.

 

It'd be nice to see them come back in some form, though.

I loved those and actually deleted a character over them being changed. Would kill [skulls] to see them back.

The old Storm Kick was a slow animation, like the Flurry attack in the speed pool.  Perhaps it could be brought back as an alternate animation for Flurry?

 

The blaster secondary set also has a new Storm Kick option under Martial Combat that looks similar to the Martial Arts version of Storm Kick.  I would love to see both animations as options for both powersets.

I wonder if the old animations still exist in the system somewhere? They may have been lost, depending on exactly what the original devs did when they replaced them.
