wiss Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Hello, I looked over the top 4 pages on this and did a quick search without finding a posting on this but was wondering if there was any rumblings about a possible review of the Sonic Resonance power set? At a quick thought I'd drop the 'Sonic Cage' power. This could be my bias but I'm willing to wager 90-95% of us don't take that power, so it might as well be a dead slot. I'd suggesting bringing 'Clarity' down to that slot and moving a replacement as the penultimate power. If I had my druthers that penultimate power would be an absorb shield. It ties into the set and would provide something to cover the gap in healing, as you will always be taking damage with a resist set (just reduced). Just wanted to get my opinion out there and if it has already been mentioned in the forums point me to it so that I may read the chain and weigh in. Thanks for your time. 1

SeraphimKensai Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 I agree with @Psyonicoin that the base 240 second recharge for liquidfy should be something more akin to 90 seconds. personally I'd also rather have disruption field a location based AoE than an ally based targeted AOE. This would allow it to be solo friendly. Also changing sonic repulsion to be a PBAoE toggle, that further reduces resistance to those it touch for 30 seconds would be great. sonic cage is fine as is. It has its uses.

It has its uses. If those two toggles must be changed, I’d hope it’d only be to give them the Enflame treatment (can toggle on both enemies and allies). Because there’s an awful lot of builds out there based on the current state of things, and my Sonic would not like either of your proposed changes to Disruption Field / Sonic Repulsion. 1

macskull Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 Speed up Sonic Siphon and add a secondary effect (maybe -dam), reduce the cooldown on Liquefy, slightly reduce Clarity's animation time. There, set's fixed. It's already a criminally underrated set that's capable of applying more -res more quickly than any other set.
