Azurii Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 I tried to log in this morning and it says I need to DL a patch and new version.. Can any1 tell me HOW to do that so I don't have CoH withdrawls all day? ;)
Conrad Stryker Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 I'm having the same trouble. On the Cream Soda launcher. It gets to shard selection and then boots me back to login saying I'm on the wrong Server and game version.
City Council Widower Posted June 5, 2019 City Council Posted June 5, 2019 If you're using Tequila, just restart it. If you're using Cream Soda, use Tequila. "We need Widower. myrddin201 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Tequila keeps closing for me. looking at the TequilaActivityLog.txt it gets to Loading Web Browser URL to: "https://patch.savecoh.com/homecoming.html" then the program closes. no error message or any other indication of an issue.
Korbian Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Tequila keeps closing for me. looking at the TequilaActivityLog.txt it gets to Loading Web Browser URL to: "https://patch.savecoh.com/homecoming.html" then the program closes. no error message or any other indication of an issue. That manifest is wrong. Go into options and at the bottom where it says "Manifests" put https://savecoh.com/manifest.xml into the box and click add. Or if it is already there select it and click "OK". Edit: I'm dumb. That actually looks like it's just having an issue loading the new picture/link. Not sure why that would cause a problem. ???
myrddin201 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 i think it might be the http(s) issue mentioned in Silk's troubleshooting post. the issue is, how do i fix it? tequila closes before i can adjust the manifest line (although it looks like http in the brief seconds before it closes) i didn't see anything in tequila.xml
City Council Widower Posted June 5, 2019 City Council Posted June 5, 2019 If Tequila is very very broken, then you've got two options. 1) Make a shortcut to Tequila, right-click and select properties, add -m http://patch.savecoh.com/manifest.xml in the Target line, and see if it lets you in. 2) Download Cream Soda, add the manifest patch.savecoh.com/manifest.xml, patch and play. myrddin201 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Thanks for the replies. 1) sadly gave the same issue of tequila closing 2) worked. it updated and downloaded the patch. i added http://patch.savecoh.com/manifest.xml to the list. and was able to log in. i tried tequila after i patched with cream soda, but still same issue. so sadly i guess it's cream soda for me till i can figure out what the issue is
The Fifth Horseman Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 i think it might be the http(s) issue mentioned in Silk's troubleshooting post. the issue is, how do i fix it? tequila closes before i can adjust the manifest line (although it looks like http in the brief seconds before it closes) i didn't see anything in tequila.xml Delete Tequila settings from your system registry (see Silk's thread), IIRC this fixed the issue for some players before.
myrddin201 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 i did that, but still would load then close seconds later. my last idea is to delete the folder and registry, and re-download. maybe there's a bad file somewhere in the folders :o
myrddin201 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 so, interesting update booted up 30 min later, and now cream soda gives and error saying "error downloading manifest" if i remove http://patch.savecoh.com/manifest.xml and re-validate, it still shows homecoming as a server and i can log in fine... ???
