Solo ITF Completion With Radiation Melee/Shield Defense Brute

Another ITF Solo, this time with a Brute. 

 

The scenario played out as it did with my Scrapper, Sentinel, and Tank solos, so I won't waste anyone's time by summarizing them. The Brute's time was a bit better than the times of the rest, save for the Scrapper; they were almost identical. 

 

Regarding one issue, there is a single Lessons Learned to observe: I was running too many toggles, even having an Incarnate power (Ageless Total Core Invocation) to boost power flow. My solution was to disable a few of the ones that weren't necessary, and proceed from there. Perhaps Tier 4 Incarnates would have helped resolve the issue, but none of mine were higher than Tier 3. 

 

The build is posted below. It's fairly efficient, save for its running too many toggles in a solo run. On a team with buffs? No problem.

Congrats! I see you used Shield for both your Scrapper and Brute run. Do you feel it’s the best armor set for this challenge?

It's one of the best for this challenge because it provides superior defense with adequate resistance, plus a few innate goodies, such as a damaging AoE attack in the Shield Defense set, and a decent damage multiplying factor. 

 

I didn't want to become a one-trick pony by relying on Shield Defense for this, but that's been the general trend thus far. Thus far, I've completed the challenge with the following:

For my next trick, I'm fairly certain that I'm going to hit it with an EM/EA Stalker. We'll see if that holds out or not, once I wade deeper into that AT and power combo.

Yes, my Pinky & The Brain grand scheme is to complete the ITF with all ATs. We'll see if that's even remotely possible or not.

Should be doable given, I think, we've "Master of" solo runs on all ATs at this point by someone.  But I don't think anyone has ever done it with all ATs.

 

Now thinking on it I don't think we've seen it on a HEAT yet.  Believe I recall a Fortunata doing one though.  Less sure if it was a Master.
