It's greener in Skyway

Are there normally five zillion Supa Trolls hanging around the transit line in Skyway City? On the way to Atlas I suddenly found myself in an unending group of them, and must have been fighting them for twenty minutes real time. Thankfully, it was my tanker with willpower. Afterward, there were dozens more running into the transit station.

 

I'm not complaining, mind you. I went from three bars of experience up to the next level in one encounter. It was sort of like the hallway fight from Old Boy.

During the Troll Rave event, yes.  The Supatrolls who aren't defeated or droned eventually run to a door and go inside (how the game despawns them), when the event ends.

Its called a Troll Rave.

There will be a flashing red star marking the location of the rave. There are 3 or 4 locations that a rave spawns at.

Yep Troll Rave event that is announced every hour or so.

 

There are badges for defeating the Super Trolls.

 

There is another badge for defeating the troll ravers before they morph into Super Trolls.

They also can collect over by the Hollows gate, depending on the location of the Rave.  I believe it's the South and West Rave locations end up at the tram, while the central Rave location Supatrolls end up by the Hollows gate.
