Pretty sure I've suggested this before, but I'll do it again.   Could the restriction preventing you from inviting someone from the other opposing faction be lifted if the leader is already in the Cimerora zone?   It only happens if one or more invitee is out of zone, and makes absolutely no sense.

It makes forming a team a royal pain, when you have 1 or more out of zone, and several players in zone pinging you for an invite.

I wish more players knew about lfg queing into the zone, but apparently a good 90% of the population has no idea about it, so this remains a big issue for someone like me who does the ITF quite a bit.

@krj12 are there other TFs which allow starting with folks out of the zone?

I get the thematic reason for it, you shouldn't as a villain be willing to work with the other side so easily, so you both go to a neutral zone.

But honestly, it's just a pain in the ass. +1 to the suggestion. I'd like this to apply to starting iTrials, co-op TF's, etc. and just get on with it.

LFG queuing into a zone has its own host of problems, unless you type /teamquitinternal each and every time you use it.  If you don't type /teamquitinternal each and every time you use the LFG queue to go to a zone, there's a chance that it may cause either a "BlockingAccept" error when someone tries to invite you, or an "unable to join your team" error.  That's why I'm glad that more people don't know about using the LFG queue to travel to zones.

I do not play blue side.  All of my characters are either Rogues or Loyalists.  For the Rogues, when I form a team, I tell people that they have to come to the zone first before I invite them.  If I want to join someone else's team, then I either use LRT or the LFG queue (followed by /teamquitinternal), and then send a tell asking to join.

As someone who doesn't play blue side, it's caused some issues.  Mostly people being impatient asking me, "Why can't you invite me now?!"  But nothing major.  Still, it'd be nice to see a fix.

I wish the rogue/vigilante junkiness in every zone was just simply lifted.

From what I've been told, that alignment jankiness is the best the system can handle.  The original goal by Paragon Studios was to make the hero and villain alignments work like vigilante and rogue now, and be able to go back and forth between all zones and do TFs and SFs.  Vigilantes and rogues would be able to actually start and play story arcs on the other side and become essentially the other alignment when in the other side's zones.  But it couldn't be done, alas.

None that allow cross faction invites that I'm aware of.

As far as I know, all TFs/SFs allow inviting others from outside the zone, but not start. All members must be in zone to start. And rogues and vigilantes must be on correct side to be invited. So no inviting that filthy rogue for a Posi' until (s)he becomes a good rogue by being blue side. Same thing for scumbag vigilantes blue side until they become freed vigilantes by being in a red zone for an Ice Mistral.

Edit: Except for Mender Silos who insists only heroes and vigilantes do his TF and only villains and rogues do his SF.
