Greycat Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 OK, minor thing. Pocket D Chalet, upper level. Chaz the Bartender has a *fascination* with Lord Winter. Even in the off season. Where he spouts the same three or four lines. Not, say, once every ten, fifteen minutes, but *every minute.* Which, when you have a group that likes to hang out there socially, gets *really* old *really* fast. Can we either get Chaz something new to talk about, or just shut him up entirely, when the winter event's not going on? Major_Decoy Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 Or just give him more to say about Lord Winter. I'll start: I hear Lord Winter deserves better than Lady Winter. Do you think Snowmen like men in blue shirts? Lord Winter is really a gentle soul once you get a couple of beers in him 1
UltraAlt Posted May 5, 2022 Posted May 5, 2022 He needs to provide inspirations. I think all the bartenders should supply inspirations. If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
Techwright Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 What are the mechanical limitations, out of curiosity? Can we submit 100, 200, more quips and have them all delivered randomly by Chad the Bartender? Or will the system forever limit him to under a dozen? I suppose that would have implications for other NCPs as well.
