Ill/Kin build help

Hi there,

I'm admittedly not great with fine-tuning builds, so have taken elements from builds I have seen and thrown them together. My goals were to achieve Perma PA and from there increase survivability. Unfortunately, I think I went a little too hard on recharge for this build. I'd love it if someone could provide some feedback on how I could better balance things. Even if it means trading out some powers (all I really want is fly/hover as my travel power), for example maybe disruptor blast is a tad unnecessary?

Also as a clarifying  question, is the limit on multiple set bonuses 5? As in 5 LotG recharges works, but a 6th one wouldn't? Want to make sure I'm not wasting any bonuses. Thanks!

First thing i noticed is you skipped transference, not sure if this was intentional. Tried to keep the powers you picked. Yes the 6th luck of the gambler 7.5% would be wasted but you can slot 5 of them and slot 5 set bonuses giving the same 7.5% recharge although i'm not sure where you'd fit them in/find them (sudden acceleration/flash sets maybe) If you boost the recharge pieces in hasten and the expedite and soulbound in PA and keep siphon speed on you get it perma without agility. But you'll need transference to run as there's so many toggles for defence purposes unless you plan on only running at 50 and taking ageless. If you throw in agility alpha you'll have even more rech/end mod/def and be over 45% smashing/lethal/energy although you may want to put a full set of numina in transfusion and a full set of expedite in phanty to get you ranged def to match. I wouldn't recommend this, no accuracy in your heal can hurt at the worst moments. I'll pop this on, take a look, throw in agility to see the difference and try clicking slots/enhancements-set all relative levels to +5 to see the difference in recharge on your PA and hasten:

Either way if you exempt down you'll want the recovery serum from P2W. I did post another build but its way back somewhere on forums. I haven't made one of these since live so i'm pretty sure someone else will have a better build. And you'll want a sudden acc kb/kd in disruptor blast or you will get annoyed by your own attacks.

Great thank you for the insight!

I skipped transference primarily because ageless takes care of any endurance issues, and throughout playing I don't find too much use/necessity for it (SB is great for ally end, on top of incarnates, etc.), and this would be for purely 50+ content. Are the set bonuses from transference a necessity or could the slots be moved around to other powers for better bonuses? Transfusion could be 6 slotted with Numina and while the accuracy may hurt, perhaps trading transference for focused accuracy from mace mastery could help? Sure it's another toggle but T4 ageless really makes end issues practically nonexistent.

Transference isn't essential if your running ageless but at 50 theres a lot of stuff like malta sappers/freakshow stunners that can take a wopping amount of end off you when you least expect it and its very handy not just for you but for hitting team mates with and filling up the blue bar when theirs is empty. You can of course just throw in something like a single boosted acc/end mod and use the slots elsewhere, i just like the set for ranged def and the small recharge bonus. You can easily drop disruptor blast for focused acc or the mace pet which is great fulcrummed/sb'd and has some nice attacks and slots some good def debuff bits. A ton of kin builds on the forums won't bother slotting the heal with anything but numi/preventetive for ranged def/recharge/sl res i just prefer a level 50 acc/heal set in especially if i can hit rech and def goals. I always recommend never playing a posted build by another player, its set up for their playstyle which is always unique and never your own, just use them as a guide or for your own ideas and then make a build you want to play. Pick the powers you want and then start throwing sets and incarnates at it til you get it the way you want to play it. Do the number crunching after that. I often won't aim for specific def/res/rech numbers if it means giving up/underslotting powers i want in the toon.
