Cimerora shall be hosting an arena tournament in your honor, as a show of our gratitude for the aid you have given us these last few weeks against the traitorous Romulus, So, sharpen your blades and reinforce your shields! For only one among you shall become...Champion of Cimerora!" What: A 1v1 Fightclub PVP tournament for all melee ATsWhen: Sunday September 25th at 9PM ESTWhere: Excelsior, Pocket DWho: Anyone can join! Just post your @global and character name in this thread to sign up for the event. Hosts: @CR Americas Angel & the Homecoming PvP Fightclub Discord WHAT IS FIGHTCLUB PVP? Arena matches between melee ATs (scrappers, tanks, brutes, stalkers, and the epics) where both players remain stationary in melee range of each other. No running/jumping around. First KO wins. Sudden death is treated as a tie. ARENA RULES Level: 50 Map: Coliseum Observers: On. Inspirations: Off. Match Length: 10 mins (Fights must start no later than the 9:45 mark on the clock.) Allowed ATs: Scrappers, Brutes, Tanks, Stalkers, Kheldians, VEATS. Allowed Incarnates: Alpha, Interface, Assault Hybrid (other hybrids banned) Allowed Powers: All primary/secondary/pool/epic/patron/accolade/alignment powers not on the Banned Powers list are allowed. All powers bought from the PvP store are allowed. Invisibility: Invisibility powers (stalkers hide, etc) are allowed, but if you stay hidden instead of fighting you will forfeit. Non-incarnate Pets: Allowed. Players are also allowed to strafe around in order to get pets in range of cones/aoes so long as they remain within melee range. BANNED POWERS Destiny, Lore, Judgement, and non-Assault Hybrid. All phase powers such as Phase Shift, Quantum Flight, Nebulous Form, etc. Leviathan Mastery Hibernate. (Ice Armour Hibernate is allowed.) FORMAT The tournament will consist of 5 round-robin style, randomly selected matches, using the following points system: Win = 3ptsTie = 1ptLoss = 0pts After the round-robin, the top 4 scoring players will advance to a round robin final four. PRIZES First Place = PVP Fightclub Champion gold title and 3000 merits Second Place = PVP Fightclub Finalist gold title and 2000 merits Third Place = PVP Fightclub Semi-Finalist gold title and 1500 merits Fourth Place = PVP Fightclub Semi-Finalist gold title and 1000 merits HOW TO SIGN UP Reply to this thread with your @global and character name. You don't have to say what sets your character has. The character you bring on the day is the one you have to use for the whole tournament. No switching characters between rounds!
