Elec/Elec Brute or Tanker?

I mostly plan to group in TFs and other groups.  I only PVE.  I don't PVP.

It would be great on either, but IMO Elec armor on a brute puts you in the sweet spot where on a tanker it is slightly overkill.

Yeah, I get it - but to not confuse the matter overkill is when the tanker is sitting at 100+ on every res value but neg and toxic where the brute comes in slightly above 90 on most.

 

With 90 being the cap - Both will perform identical in that situation with the brute having better damage and the tanker having better aoe.

Scrapper.  Even if you are teaming with 7x rikti monkeys you will do more damage and survive the same.

I know with Elec/Shield, scrapper is the best choice, because of the way psudo-pets work (Shield Charge / Lightning Rod).  Not sure how it pans out with elec/elec.
Would be interesting to run the numbers, but I bet it's pretty close for sustained DPS. Brute or Tank are gonna have more survivability, naturally, but massive offence is also = defense. :-)

I had a Elec/Elec Scrapper on live.  The only Scrap I ran at 50.  worthy.  Think about it....

This is the way. Pets don't crit. They also don't break Hide so there is no advantage for a Scrapper versus a Stalker.
