it would be nice to have a christmas event that a little similar to the halloween event where u can give character to go around door to door and get a gift or a baddie and baddies be nice to fight again like christmas tree looking character snowman  elfs raindeers and santa and also be nice to have a big boss to fight in zones like hug santa or a huge raindeer or snowman or even a huge elf to go against and earn rewards  also be nice if we have similar to a zombie even but a huge christmas event where we have to battle again bunch of elfs or santas or even mix then all up let then keep spawning for a so much time we all can join a  huge league and battle against the christmas baddies just be nice to be able to come up with other christmas events to do in the game and earn different kind of rewards... maybe there can be a huge ice event where people can slide on and even battle on to make it little more challenging battling baddies on a huge ice as we all slide

Christmas isn't about going door to door to get people to give you treats/gifts. So your request doesn't make sense to me. Besides, the presents scattered all over the zones already serve that purpose. You click the present and either get a present (Treat!) or are attacked by snowmen (Trick!). As for a big boss, the Winter Lord spawns every 100 presents opened in the zone. There is also the Lord Winter and Lady Winter events that can be done as well. With the Lord Winter one requiring a league. So your request basically already exists.

(Also, why do you hate Christmas so much that you want to beat up all Santa's elves, reindeer, and him?)

The presents are plenty.

...

BUUUUTT

I grew up as a musician. During this time we played a lot and went caroling.

SOOOOOOO

It could be called "Caroling"

If they "like" your "singing" you get a small reward

If they don't, you get booed and attacked with tomatoes

Not sure how you would implement caroling as a mechanic in the game. If it were to be done though? I would say it would need a team of at least 4 to do so. Maybe have a contact with a timed mission where your team goes to preset caroling locations and ... ... do something to show they are caroling? Depending on how well they do whatever it is, they can succeed and get a (very minor) reward while failing causes the Forces That Be to have a small army of snowmen attack scattering the angry and now panicked listeners? Or maybe you go to those locations to carol and get attacked by the snowmen at each location as they try to ruin the holiday spirit?

From 'Here We Come A-Wassailing':

I have a little leather pouch, of ratching leather skin.

Pray give us each a penny to line it well within.

God bless the master of this house, likewise the mistress, too,

And all the little children who round the table go.

Or the 'Gloucestershire Wassail' (second and third lines of first and second verses, and fourth verse):

Pray God send our master a good Christmas pie. And a good Christmas pie as may we all see,

Pray God send our master a good piece of beef. And a good piece of beef as may we all see,

Come, butler, come fill us a bowl of your best,

Then we pray that your soul in Heaven may rest.

But if you do bring us a bowl of the small,

Then the devil take butler, bowl and all.

A late seventeenth-century commentator wrote, "Wenches ...by their Wassels at New-years-tide ...present you with a Cup, and you must drink of the slabby stuff; but the meaning is, you must give them Moneys." At Christmastide, the poor expected privileges denied them at other times, including the right to enter the homes of the wealthy, who feasted them from the best of their provisions. In exchange, the lord of the manor had the goodwill of his people for another year. At these gatherings, the bands of roving wassailers often performed songs for the master while drinking his beer, toasting him, his family, his livestock, wishing continued health and wealth. Wassailing became associated with rowdy bands of young men who would invade the homes of wealthy neighbors demanding free food and drink under the threat of vandalizing their home -- "Oh, bring us a figgy pudding" and "We won't go until we get some" from 'We Wish you a Merry Christmas'. The Puritans attempted to control such rowdiness through a ban on Christmas celebrations, chafing under the early church's decision to capitalize on the preexistence of the pagan Saturnalia (with its traditions of rowdiness and misbehavior) when picking December 25 as the date for Christmas, and similar laws remained in effect in New England long after the restoration of the monarchy in England in 1660 restored the Christmas celebration there.

So, yes, there is a long tradition, in England and thence to America, of going door-to-door during the holiday season and expecting to receive food, drink, or money. However, the rest of your comment is valid; we already have the presents strewn across the zones to serve as the 'wandering to collect rewards' activity for the season. And in particular, I don't think the HC staff wants to create a holiday-themed version of the Peregrine Island murder motel.

I agree that we already have stuff for Christmas...

But if we go the timed mission route, we could use the DJ in Pocket D.

For example:

"Steel Canyons Christmas Spirit has vanished, and so have the PRESENTS"

"To bring them back, you need to go on a patrol and sing your hearts out"

"Bring Christmas back to Steel"

Rewards could vary from candy canes, salvage, etc.

Do enough of them for a badge

Like putting out fires ...

Just a thought.

Just before Christmas, Santa Claus gets a surprise visit from the Federal Aviation Administration. The examiner walks slowly around the sled, looking at each of the reindeer harnesses, the runners, and the sled's body. Then he weighs Santa and performs balance calculations to determine the sled's payload.

OK, everything checks out," he says while stepping into the sleigh. "But you still have to pass the test flight."
Santa jumps into the sleigh, then notices that the FAA examiner has a shotgun sitting across his lap. "What's that for?" he gulps.
"Technically, I'm not supposed to tell you this" winks the examiner "but you're going to lose an engine on takeoff."

Overall I agree that we have lots of Christmas related stuff.

I propose we pump them all up a little so that people will actually do them a bit more than just a one-badge-speedrun-and-done.  Create some hard mode for them!  Most of the missions are all pretty simple and short, so upgrading them for the hard-mode crowd shouldn't be too difficult.  Drop an Aether Particle or four at the end of each, each time a toon does it for the first time, like Market Crash (hell, dropping a purple at the end of them would be quite in the spirit of giving, right?).

Halloween got that with it's new EBs and PAP rewards... so no reason why we shouldn't give a little more content and incentive to play it more than once.
