Time/Psychic Blast Build Help

I recently restarted playing the game a couple weeks ago after being gone for many years, and I jumped right in to trying out a combo I have never played before. Time Manipulation was not on Live when I played last, and I have a lot of fun with the set. As always though, any help from someone with more experience would be greatly appreciated. Please take a look and let me know what you think.

So first thing is Time does the things you normally chase Set Bonuses to do (Def & Recharge). This is great for you because it frees you up to chase other things like Procs. Sadly Psi doesn't proc that well. Also toggles & patches don't do well with procs, so I tend to put them in "direct" attacks.

 

Took my Time/Sonic and rejigged them to Time/Psi. I prefer Snipes / Quick Snipes to standard attacks so replaced Subdue with the snipe. Also Scramble Thoughts is kinda meh, you don't have a lot of other Stun to stack it with. So I dumped it for the nuke. 

 

Time is one of the few builds where the Epic pets from Villains can be permaed (and Soul has Power Boost for that critical PB > Farsight combo) so I went Soul for them. 

 

This isn't cheap. Feel free to replace the Winters sets with "normal" alternatives. The ATT sets (Defenders Bastion & Vig Assault) are very good value. They're basically Purples but at 1/3rd of the price (or used to be). I always split Sup Vig Assault 3 and 3 into two powers for the +10% recharge bonus twice.

I definitely appreciate the insight. I will update my build with some of your thoughts. My main reason for adding as much recharge I did was so that I could have perms hasten and perma farsight. So I will definitely have to look at changing some things around. 
 

Quick question. When I am running Power Boosted Farsight I am well into being soft capped for defense. I just don’t seem to have much of a need for Time’s Juncture and barely use it during teaming. Is this something I really need to keep in my build if I barely even use it?

It does have some -dam as well so not useless. Knocking 25/30% off a boss (or AV, they only use their resists to resist -dam not the 85% they get to other debuffs). Also handy to act like a buffer against defense debuffs if you're in close (-ToHit to them is like +Def for you)

 

Mostly I have it for the set bonus and cool swirly FX. It fits my character (troll DJ). I've run whole TFs without realising it's switched off
