Gravity / Storm - Build help and some questions

I think I finally found a power combination that I like to play, now the hard part is putting the build together.

I've went through the threads on the old COH forums and found some topics on them but no definitive "this is the build to use" (and there seems to have been a gravity revamp mid-way), so I tried to put together my own but just have some questions i mind:

1. I've read in some threads that Lightning Storm has a KB but Pines only says KD, do I need a sudden acceleration or overwhelming presence in this power?

2. Tried moving this around but couldn't get both capped defenses with perma hasten - will the two force feed back procs in lift and propel be able to consistently take it below 120s cd? Pines says yes but I'm not familiar with how force feedback proc works

Regarding the build:

- Capped defenses

- Perma-hasten

- Reasonable endurance drain

- Stealth with steamy + celerity in dash

- Flex skills are thunderclap and dimension shift? I guess alternatives would be O2 and tactics/assault

- Hover with the flight speed boosts is a personal choice.

- I hope Ice storm goes well with the build? I heard hibernation is a good self-sustain tool for ice, alternative would be to go mace mastery for scorpion shield

any advice would be great!

- Slot Hurricane for -tohit. Its -30% base and enhanced you can floor just about anything.

- Wormhole needs to be slotted for accuracy. Can be useful to slot for stun and/or range. Note, Wormhole doesn't need LOS and can be used around corners.

- Thunderclap is skippable (it's only a mag 2 stun) unless you want to stack it with Wormhole to stun bosses.

- I haven't used Dimension Shift since they changed it in I22. You can now attack the phased enemies if you enter the phased AoE.

I'm attempting to soft-cap my Grav but what I want to talk about is Dimension Shift.

I think it's a must have after the changes in i22. It can be made near perma with a high recharge build and might be the most perfect phase power in all of CoH. It's been my favorite "Oh shit!" button since level 18. The best part is that it really only needs 2 slots w/recharge IOs to be useful.

Thanks for the tips

I went back and moved things around to up the accuracy of the whole build. Removing the two force feedback procs I found enough space to get enough global recharge (AKA purple sets galore) to get hasten to 121s CD.

I think the build is actually quite flexible as I was only limited by my insistence on getting a semi-fast hover and fitting ice-storm into the build which basically cost me 6 slots. The last slot is a flex and can be O2 / vengeance / Dshift / Tclap / Superspeed but since ThrillMill just praise Dshift so much I'll give that a try (with the global recharge in this build 1 Recharge IO will make it perma.

My preferred way of playing anything /Storm is to get an immob around a big group, then herd them up with a heavily slotted Hurricane into a nice corner where I then unleash Tornado and Lightning Storm. You keep them herded and in place with repeated Crushing Field and ongoing Hurricane while Freezing Rain, 'Nado and LS do all the damage, while the Hurricane -tohit keeps you from, well... getting hit. The amazing synergy with Grav is that you don't need to herd them into a corner! Just Wormhole them into one to begin with and go to town on disoriented mobs.

Also, I'm not sure why you're taking Tactics. FR will debuff everything enough that you won't have any issues hitting. Maneuvers is nice, but you can get much cheaper (end) defense out of Combat Jumping. Yes, Manuevers helps everyone on the team, but essentially, so does Hurricane. Maneuvers is overkill.

You did not take Lift - and this is one of the powers that gives Grav such incredible single target capabilities. It throws things up in the air, taking away a lot of attack time, and does extra damage (like Propel) to mobs hit with Gravity Distortion.

Ice Mastery is a great pairing with Storm, but consider taking Frost Breath. When you have everything Wormholed/Hurricaned/Crushed in a corner getting thrown up (but not around) by LS and Nado, knocked down by FR and Hurricane, and unable to hit anything, they all make a nice juicy target for cone attacks.

Hmm..i used mystic flight and rune of protection(1:30 of all status protection). over hover.  I skipped thunderclap and dimension shift because on a good team doing incarnate lvl stuff, neither is that useful.

Also went the Mako route with Water Spout / Shark Armor.
