I read the 5-issue run. it's very disjointed, dropping us in the middle of multiple conflicts constantly, but there's a reason for it -- setting up the Big Bad for the next bunch of issues.

 

My real complaint is that the writer leans too heavily on good lines from other franchises. It comes across less as "we're all nerds here" and more like he's playing greatest hits to borrow some glory. Other than that it's fine.
