Rare salvage is expensive :(. I picked up superspeed and hasten and added steadfast protection back because I forgot to include it so that brings this build to 39% def which isn't too bad. eetorres76 Posted May 14, 2019 Share Posted May 14, 2019 As for IO's once you get a good farm toon (spines/Fire) it becomes very easy to max out / IO builds and just generate influence/resources in general. There are all kinds of new shortcuts to generate rare stuff by simply AE farming (emp merits, ATO packs, raw influence gain with xp off, etc). I think it took me 4 days since starting up to get a PVP IO / Purpled out / +5 / Catalyzed / Accolades / etc blaster for PvP. Thank you for bringing this up. I have been wanted to create a character that was simply just for farming inf and resources for my other characters. Could you elaborate on what you use (spines/Fire) brute or scrapper? Looking for something that can easily soak some alphas. Yes, a shield/dark tank does well. It's not as defensive as some other primaries like Stone or WP but it does well. Shield built out correctly is lit and if you IO it to the gills you can do some stupid stuff fun. I ran a Fire/sd toon and ran my solo missions on +4/x8 I soloed AV's on a regular bases. Now that we started over I made my shield into a dm/sd the reason/ The only reason I did not when shield intially came out was I already came already had two dm/ scrappers so i went fire. Noob question here: Murcielago do you need the Body Mastery pool for the endurance help? If you slot 2 Endurance Modification and a Performance Shifter in Stamina plus Numina's Convalesence in Health, you have a lot of endurance regeneration. You also have a fast charging Dark Consumption to help out. Pines/Mids doesn't play nicely with Mac so I can't check the exact numbers right now. Back in the day I didn't have it on all of my high-end characters because it required too much sacrifice in other areas at times.
