Azrik Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 What are the best ways to protect yourself from mez effects while playing as a PB or WS? I know the obvious ones like using Dwarf form or slotting the KB protection IO, but what about while in human for? What are the best methods for protecting against holds and such while in human form?
Orivon Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Light Form provides some good coverage and if you're facing harder content you can get some good mez protection from set bonuses. If something stacks and you get mezzed, it usually doesn't last long and I usually just pop into dwarf and keep smashing.

Join a Team and let someone else play aggro magnet. Verbogeny is one of many pleasurettes afforded a creatific thinkerizer.
Microcosm Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Go to the old forums and check my guide on inspiration combination. It has binds you can set up that constantly create breakfrees as you move your character so you always have one available. After you get incarnates you can get Clarion and switch to combining for another insp type instead. It's linked in the kheldian binds sticky there, I will see if I can find a link to the old forums. Here's the kheld bind sticky: https://web.archive.org/web/20120904200253/http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=190418 Here's the breakfrees combiner for khelds guide: https://web.archive.org/web/20120905035403/http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=124803 Inspiration maker's guide
Papaschtroumpf Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 Or gobble up purple inspirations, if they can't hit you they can't mezz you. Once you get to 50, get the T4 of Clarion Destiny that provides 120s of mezz protection and recharges in 120s. It says the mezz protection weakens over time but it is so high at the beginning (something like 20), that you're still good at the end.
